Which would you choose, and why?

The only two MK TS restaurants I haven't tried yet are LTT and CP.

Which of the two would you choose of the two? Cost not an issue, I have an ADR for LTT already but I'm wavering. The only thing keeping me from CP is that I don't know if I really want to deal with a buffet meal while at parks, and I don't care about the characters (my daughter might though, so that's not a deciding factor.)

Just want to hear some opinions/reviews on each - and just to clarify, we're not interested in Skippers Canteen, and leaving the park is not an option. These are the only two I need input on.

Thank you all!

We've booked Crystal palace for the characters and the buffet. :) The breakfast has some particularly attractive options for us. We booked an LTT (although we're hoping for SC) but it feels less exciting to me.

They're very different sorts of food. Arguably, LTT is better overall food. CP is pretty different breakfast vs. other meals as well.

I think breakfast at CP is definitely worth doing at least once in your life, especially if anyone enjoys Pooh.

I would choose LTT. I've been to CP twice and LTT once. LTT was by far the more relaxing experience and better food.

Breakfast at CP is one of my favorite meals there. The characters are a bonus as the Pooh characters are my favorites. There is a wide variety of food choices and the ever popular Mickey Waffles.

If you are talking about lunch or dinner, LTT absolutely has the better food, IMO. Last couple of times we dined at CP for lunch or dinner, the food was abysmal, the wait past our ADR was ridiculous and the atmosphere is just too hectic in general. If you really want to try it, the food at CP is markedly better at breakfast than at lunch and dinner.

We really love both of those restaurants, but my vote is for LTT simply because it's like a homemade Thanksgiving dinner that's brought right to your table in family-style serving bowls at dinner time. We love it!

The OP has not specified which meal she is considering, but since LTT doesn't serve breakfast, I assume it is for either lunch or dinner. Our first choice would be LTT lunch because it is the only a la carte choice (with ooey gooey toffee cake for dessert). Second choice would be LTT dinner, because we like the menu, and it s a quieter atmosphere than any buffet. CP would be our third choice, whether it was for lunch or dinner. We have found the food quality better than some (its still head and shoulders better than Chef Mickeys or H&V), but we've reached a point where characters are no longer a plus and the noise and hectic atmosphere are a minus.

Sorry, so we have BOG pre-park for that day, so it would be lunch if LTT or dinner if we went with CP.

For ambience/decor, I love CP. When we went, the buffet food was well-cooked and tasty, but I could have sat in that beautiful restaurant all day drinking tea if they would let me. I agree that LTT food was even better, but I grew up in a Colonial town, so I am kind of over that theming.

I have eaten at both several times and if you don't have to see the characters, I would do LTT. The last time we ate at CP, it was a chaotic mess. Buffet line was long, it took forever for the characters to come to our table and they seemed to be so busy, no one was busing tables, so it was just messy. I'm not a huge fan of the food at LTT, but at least it's a bit more relaxing!

We actually love both places for lunch. But If I had to choose, I would choose LTT over CP because of the food and theming.

LTT lunch is nice. Character meals always take too much time during a park day for my taste.

Both are good, but I give the nod to LTT. The atmosphere is better, though no characters. Also, I think the food is tastier.

For a more relaxing experience, i'd go with LTT for sure. Food is better there anyway. :) Although I do love CP as well...but I agree that it can be a chaotic mess, and waiting forever for characters kinda stinks sometimes.

Never done CP but would like to try it though we are also past character meets (our kids are all older). So I am not sure, for us, CP is worth the cost (expensive because of characters). We have done LTT several times and it's one of our faves.

I absolutely love both, but honestly if I had to choose I think I'd go with LTT

CP is a great place, and CAN be amazing, but I've also had a lot of bad luck with it! Breakfast is the only meal I'll do now thanks to cost and it not being worth it (IMO!!) characters can take a LONG time to get around to your spot, and food is okay. We've had a lot of issues with lunch & dinner not being fresh for us.

LTT on the other hand was absolutely delicious (we did lunch and really want to go back for dinner) we had great service and it was a super nice change for us from the normal mk madness
