Which would work better?

On our next trip, we will be staying @ WL for the 1st time! On one of our nights, I have planned for us to have a TS meal (not in a park) for dinner & then I would like to be back @ WL in time for us to watch the water parade thing. I believe it passes by WL around 9:30. As of now, I have made two ADR's for this night: (1) Trail's End @ FW for 7pm and (2) Kona Cafe @ Poly for 720pm. I think I would prefer to eat @ Kona, but am unsure if we could make it back in time to WL for the water parade. Any thoughts/suggestions? TIA!

You are cutting it close with Kona. You may be a bit rushed in eating to do it and if you are looking forward to a meal, rushing is the last thing you want to do.

Have you considered eating at the WL - Whispering Canyon Cafe? We love it, it is one of our favorites and musts of every trip.

That way you would already be there, you could enjoy your resort a bit more and not be hurried.

Doesn't the Water Parade pass by the Poly. If so you could keep your Kona (my choice by a mile) then go back to the resort and swim at night. Also a great childhood treat!!

Thank you all for the input! I was afraid I would be cutting it close with the ADR I have for Kona, but wasn't sure. I did consider WCC, but my DH vetoed that choice. So, after I read all of your suggestions, I went back to Disney's site & was lucky enough to be able to move up our ADR for Kona. In fact, I was able to make 2: one for 540pm & one for 635pm. I would prefer the one @ 635pm. Do y'all think we would then have enough time to make it back to WL? If not, I'll keep the 540! Thanks, again!!!

I would do the 5:40, it gives you enough time to relax and enjoy your meal. Gives you a bit of leway say they are behind.

Just a heads up I would make your decision soon as adrs that close together have a chance of being cancelled. If a CM goes thru and sees them that close together they know you are double booked and you run the risk of them cancelling both.
