Which would be the best way to do this??

Going in August - staying at the Poly, my sister and her family will be in Orlando (staying offsite @ timeshare) and their vacation overlaps with ours for 2 nights, so we would like to get together with them. They are not going to be doing Disney at all so meeting in the parks is out of the question. One night we have ADR (my family) for Coral Reef @ Epcot at 7:30, so we would like to meet up with them afterwards and thought the Boardwalk would be great since it's right there. We would probably be leaving BW well after 11:00 so Epcot would be closed and we would be unable to cut through it to get back to our car or the transporation center. Would we be able to park in the Boardwalk hotel, go into Epcot for dinner, then come back to BW for drinks afterwards? Also would my sister's family have any trouble parking at Boardwalk for drinks (probably at either ESPN or Hall)? What are your thoughts as to the best way to do this? We are also traveling w/my mom & GS which makes walking extended distances very difficult.

If I ever went to the resort for a meal but am not staying there I just tell them at the guard gate where I am going and they let you in and tell you where to park. It shouldn't be a problem to park at Boardwalk, go to Epcot and then return to Boardwalk.

You and/or your sister certainly can park at BW if you are going to any of the BW restaurants or clubs. Technically, you are not supposed to park there and then go to Epcot, but you may be able to get away with it in your situation since you plan to go back to the BW after leaving Epcot.

Call the front desk of the BW, I am sure that they will accommodate you.
