Would it be cheaper to buy our park tickets separately or bundle all together, value resort, park tickets, and dinning plan all together. Thanks for any advice. We are a family of 4 .two adults, one 19 yo son who is disabled and a 12 yo daughter.

If you're looking for cheaper, leave off the dining plan and pay OOP. The dining plan is almost never a cost savings.

Once you drop the dining plan, it is typical that a room-only discount, coupled with tickets purchased from Undercover Tourist, will be cheaper than a Disney package.

We no longer purchase a Disney package. We do room only and purchase tickets through my wife's work. Cheapest tickets we could find out of anyone that sells them.

If you eat a lot of food and typically choose the more expensive meals then the DDP will save you a little money or it was that back a couple years. Just throwing a number out there (7-10) day stay might be $100 savings give or take. That is what I figured on our trip a couple of years back. We no longer eat like this so last time we choose OOP and didn't spend near the money the DDP would have cost us. It was like $200-300 or more than what we actually ate. It's been a while since I talked about it so the numbers could be a little off but they are in the ball park.

Dining Plan also assumes you eat dessert at every meal. They've updated it so you can get a bottled beverage (for later) instead of a dessert at QS, but if you're out to save money you bring a water bottle into the park and just get that filled anyway.

Thanks everyone, I am new to this Disney stuff so not sure what a OOP is, could someone explain please! Thanks

Out Of Pocket = paying for food yourself as you go instead of the Dining Plan.

I agree with the others, paying for the Dining Plan is usually not a good deal. For 2 trips we put whatever the cost of the Dining Plan was onto some Disney Gift Cards. We ate like we wanted to, what we wanted to, used the Gift Cards to pay for Alcoholic Drinks (which are not included on the Dining Plan) and used them for tips (which are also not included in the Dining Plan) and had $250 left over after a 7 night stay.
