We are going in December, and I am seriously considering buying these for my whole family, just so we don't have to get all 14 of us into the park first thing to get the fastpasses. :upsidedow (Two of the 14 are babies 6 and 7 months old, which makes it interesting to be on time.) LOL!

Those of you who have tried the boxes....what would you suggest? How about the amount of food and so on?

What about the kids box? My grandsons are 4 and 6, and are not big eaters. Is there enough to share? Do you think the CMs will let them in if they shared?

Thanks! :goodvibes

Each person over 3 needs a FP, so sharing wouldn't work for the 4 and 6 year olds. BUT most of the kids meals can be saved for later (goldfish, applesauce, etc). Other tips: Adults can get kids meals and vice versa. Kids meals don't come with soda though (we got the mini water bottles for all our kids meals).

My kids had the kids picnic (with chicken) and liked it okay, but if I did it again I'd go with the PB and Jelly or the one with yougurt and string cheese. The adults in our group (we were a group of 20, with 4 under 3) got the Adult picnic (fried chicken) or the European which they all liked. I had the Asian and I wasn't thrilled with the miso on the salmon but the noodles and salad were good. In fact I scraped off the miso and put the salad dressing on the salmon instead.

I agree with 3minnies1mickey, it's better if you do one meal per kid, kids' meals are not very big, and take in consideration, that they come with a cupcake and your DGS might not want to share that!!! ;)
I ordered the PB & J for my boys and they liked it.

Just be aware that in the chicken meal for either adult or kid, the chicken is COLD, I know that info is displayed in the website, but I didn't read it when ordering,so I was unhappy with my cold fried chicken meal.

DH had the asian one and he liked it!

Thanks!

My grandsons would definitely want their own cupcake! :rotfl:

Yep, it doesn't matter who eats what food, or who orders what, but everyone 3 and older needs their own meal so they can get their own FP.

I had the cold fried chicken, which was very disappointing. I normally love cold chicken, but it was just pretty mediocre. Ditto the salads that it came with. I tossed most of mine out after picking at it.

My 2yo and 4yo each had the peanut butter sandwich meal, which they loved and ate virtually all of. I had considered ordering them the chicken leg but am so glad I went for the sure-thing PB&J!

Hmm?
So far it sounds like the chicken is a disappointment, and the PB&J is a hit! :)

I was also kind of wondering about the Mediterranean box?

We had the European & Asian, DD6 had the yogurt/string cheese one. All were very good and I think very much worth it since you don't have to wait in line for FPs and if you have an AP you get a discount also :) Ordering online in advance - you get a very nice re-usable WoC bag per meal. The kids meals also come with a light up WoC bracelet.

I had the European and DGF the Mediterranean.

They were both great, to the point I might buy one for dinner wether or not I want to see the show. Not huge meals but enough unless you are a big eater.

As was noted about the chicken it's all cold food, so let everyone know that. You can pick them up at 11:30 until an hour before the 1st show. So they can be lunch or dinner.

Have you seen the pictures? Pictures and Descriptions.

Hi Mel!

When we were there for the 1/2 Marathon my mom and I had the Mediterranean and we both enjoyed it. My aunt had the All American and she enjoyed hers too. I thought there was plenty of food and for the price you can't beat it. We got Yellow section. We had a really good view but since my mom had the GAC pass we were in the wheel chair section with benches so I'm not sure how that compares to regular yellow. You get a full sized soda and a WOC tote bag too. :) Here's some pictures:

Hi back Sarah!
Thanks for the pics and reviews too! The wrap does look good.:goodvibes (From the pic, it doesn't look like there is eggplant in them.
I think the price sounds reasonable also! :thumbsup2

I think the kids meal looks great. Especially if it comes with a cupcake and a light up bracelet! Who wouldn't like that?

You are right about the price verses, waiting in line. You almost pay as much for counter service anyways! :upsidedow

I don't think there was, but then again I've never had eggplant so I don't know what it tastes like. :lmao:

Slimy and yuckky!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You know ITA. And I would say no, but I didn't look through it. I did have a couple bites and it was fine for me. Usually eggplant is a vegtable that I recognize by taste or texture and would of need to pull it out. It could of been hidden in there but it seems too firm and crunchy.

Thanks for the pics- especially of the Mediterranean meal. I was glad to see there was more of the squash spaghettini than is shown on the Disney site! From those pics, it looked like a couple of bites! Also, I'm glad someone pointed out that the chicken is cold.... I didn't pick up on that either, and my kiddos would not be thrilled about the idea of cold chicken! PB&J it is!

Hey now with the eggplant bashing!!! ;) Have you guys ever tried grilled eggplant? Brushed lightly with olive oil and salt? It's not slimy and delicious :)

Tyring to disguise the ickyness are you? :scared:

Mom and I both had the mediterranean. We liked everything except the shredded vegetables. She said hers tasted like no dressing on it and I just didn't like the flavor of mine. I would order it again. DD had the chicken and her only complaint was the chicken was cold. DS had the chicken kids meal which had a thigh instead of a full size drum stick. I'm thinking they added it because the drumstick that was in was tiny. It also had a string cheese and I don't remember it being included. It was enough food for us, but Mom and I had stuffed ourselves on the chicken at Plaza Inn for lunch.
