What time of year are you looking at?

My dream week would include July 18th, opening day, or October 1 my wedding anniversary.

The only time I'd avoid Disneyland is NYE. Been there and never doing it again. I'll just go back to WDW for NYE. It's wonderful that time of year.

we are thinking about either during halloween or christmas - we can't decide. We can't go ON those holidays - but would like to go when the parks are decorated for them. We have to go after Sept 1st (so DH will have vacation)

I love going anywhere in between mid January and mid February. Perfect weather and crowds!

I went with the first week of October, but if I likes the Holidays more that week in December is a great alternative.

My answer for you depends on wether you prefer Halloween or Christmas. I LOVE  both so this year we are doing Halloween again (3rd time) & next trip we are planning to hit the parks for Christmas again (2nd time). In my opinion you have chosen great weeks no matter which way you go. :thumbsup2

YES. You have chosen wisely. :)

I'm a huge Christmas at DL fan and won't miss it for the world this year. It's amazingly gorgeous, wonderful, and magical! Halloween-time is so close in awesomeness, too! It just depends on your preference if you love Halloween and autumn themes more than Christmas. Either way, both will rock yer socks off!

Adding - I would go at Halloween time JUST to see Ghost Galaxy a bazillion times. Love it, bought the t-shirt. lol

I say December because its less likely to be hot. We have been twice (3 times?) in the fall, and both had dreadful, "unusual" heat waves in the 90s. We were pretty miserable. The Halloween decor was fun, but I like seeing IASW with the Christmas overlay and snow best during our Thanksgiving, non-heat wave trip. My two cents.

I myself would go Sept 29th - Oct 6th because I have already seen Disneyland during the holidays, I think the later Oct date would be too busy with being so close to Halloween. If you have never seen Disneyland at Christmas time then definitely go then, but expect high crowds around that time because I'm pretty sure you would be there around the Disneyland Candlelight Processional.

crap - i forgot to mention dd turns 3 the first week in oct, so i guess we really need to go the first week so she is still free - lmbo
