Which week is better?

Hi, I'm planning on going to Disneyland with my family either the last week of September (would spend the 25th and 26th in the parks) or the first week of October (would spend 2nd and 3rd in the parks). According to the Touringplans.com to which I subscribed the first week of October looks significantly busier than the September option. Any ideas on why that might be and how accurate that is? Just trying to finalize dates and as we are only doing one day in each park I want to make sure we do less waiting and more having fun! Thanks!

The main event that time of year is GayDays but this year it’s not until Oct 5-7. Imho you’re good either week but might see slightly lower crowds in Sept since school fall breaks could potentially start as early as the first week of Oct.
