Which Week is Better?

Sept 23-30 or Sept 30-Oct 6? Free dining is included for both weeks. Is one more/less crowded than the other. I believe the Halloween festivities start in Sept as well. When does the Food/Wine events start and is it more crowded because of that. Thanks for your help. I need to make my deposit by the end of the week!

I would go for Sept 23-30. TouringPlans.com crowd calendar rates the days 1-10 for how busy they should be. Here are the numbers on your planned days:

Sept 23-30 (5,4,5,4,4,4,5,4)
Sept 30-Oct 6 (4,5,5,5,5,5,7)

They don't appear to be particularly crowded on either week, but seem to be slightly less on the first week.

They base their numbers on a lot of criteria, how booked hotels are, what holidays are in, school vacation, prior years, etc...
