Which week in Sept 2014?

I am not a fan of crowds and we have to work around some things with DH's job; so I am thinking Sept would be the best time to plan our trip to see the new Diagon Alley expansion. I'm thinking it should be open by then, and going after labor day should limit the crowds. Either the week of the 9 or the week of the 16 are the options I'm currently looking at right now. Which of those options do my experts think would be the best?
We'll be staying on site (I'm thinking PBH) if that makes a difference.

I dont think it will matter, and to be honest, I wouldnt count on low crowds either.It wont be insane, but it isnt going to be low crowds like usual

Thanks! I'm not expecting no or even super low crowds, but it should be better than the mid summer I can't move crush that happens at all parks (esp when there is something new). We went during that same time after WWoHP first opened and we thought the crowds were easily manageable. I just wanted opinions to see if there was something I didn't know about either week that would make one better than the other. We'll do most of our park time during the actual week too which will help too.

since the new hp2 will change the patterns we are use to crowd wise, it is difficult to say which week will be better for you.

i have gone to the darkside in september many times in the past.
i prefered the time period starting around the 16th the best.

park hours are shorter but we didn't encounter tour groups or crowds.

i would think that families with school age kids would tend to go labor day period and miss a few school days rather then the middle of the month.

once diagon alley is opened, we won't really understand the crowd levels until it is upon us.
