Which week in May would be the least crowded

Our family is planning on going in May...which days would be less crowded...May 12-May 20 or May 19-May 27?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

I think the 27th would put you into, or very close to, Memorial Day. I can't speak about crowds though, having never been there at that time. But, from what I've read through other threads, and since I'm planning my trip for the similar timeframe in 2009 I've been watching for this kind of info, the M.D. holiday attracts larger crowds...

I agree. I think the crowds might be less if you go the 12th-20th. The crowds pick up the closer to Memorial Day weekend you get. :thumbsup2

Well I've never been there during either of those weeks but I was there the first week of May '06 and the crowds were pretty minimal. We didn't have long waits for any of our favorite rides, but we were on the DP and did have some trouble getting ADR's and there were only two of us. Other than that it was great.. on and hot!! We didn't think the first week of May would be too bad, and I suppose it could have been worse, about 90 everyday with 150% humidity!!

I've gone twice in the middle of May and there were basically no crowds and very short lines for most rides. I know my kids schold gets out mid May and not too many get out that early. I would go eqarlier to avoid schools getting out. It gets crazy when that times arrives. I went the last week in June once, and there were lines that were 3 hours long. It was awful.
