Which Week - Before 2021 Super Bowl or After

Trying to plan a week-long trip in celebration of my wife's birthday (Fri, Feb 5); however the date isn't absolutely crucial. More important is "which week will give us the best Disney experience in terms of crowds?" Persons who are focused on the Super Bowl are going to want to enjoy all the pre-game festivities, while the rest of the family may get dropped off to enjoy Disney. On the other hand, a family may fly in on Super Bowl Weekend, enjoy the game and then linger for a Disney World experience the week following. I'm at an impasse in my thinking. I can adjust my check-in to be on Fri/Sat/Sun, Jan 29 through Jan 31 for the week before Super Bowl or Friday the 5th through Sunday the 7th for the week after Super Bowl. I would appreciate your insights!

The super bowl has no effects on crowds at all so I wouldn’t use that as a deciding factor.

FYI, the 2021 Super Bowl is in Tampa.

Also in 2021 the Pro Bowl will once again be held in Orlando the week before the Super Bowl.

I would go after. I think crowds were higher due to the pro bowl being in Orlando the week before. Lots of players bring their families and they go to the parks.

We were at WDW the week of 1/24 and it was very crowded which I found surprising. The weather wasn’t the best either, but that’s always a toss-up in any case. From what I’ve been hearing from friends who have visited this month, it’s still pretty busy.

The Monday after the Super Bowl this year was super crowded because of the MVP parade.

It was so much fun to be there on Monday after Super Bowl and see Patrick Mahomes. If you are a football fan I'd go then

So...just to summarize....avoid the week between the Pro Bowl (in Orlando) and the Super Bowl (in Tampa)......you could go starting Sunday and catch the MVP parade if you want....
