Which weather site is usually the most accurate??

I have been to several today to see what to expect for our trip this week, and they all have a slightly different (though equally bleak) prediction... UGGGHHH! This is the first time in the 4 years I've been to Orlando in Feb. that it's supposed to be chilly AND rainy during our trip. I know that sometimes the predictions aren't that accurate 4 days ahead (we leave on Thursday), but I wondered if any of you all knew which website has the best record of accuracy... Also, is it pretty unusual to have 5 days in a row of 60 degree temps and rain in Feb.?? I always thought that Feb. was one of the driest months in Orlando.

On a related point, what sort of touring strategy should we adopt if it does, in fact, turn out to be cold and wet or very cloudy? Which rides are a definite bust if the weather stinks? Which rides do they close down? What will happen with all the Mardi Gras festivities if it's rainy and cold on Sat. night? Will the HRH pool be warm enough to take a dip in even if the air temp is in the 60s??

This is our first trip to US -- and our first traveling with another family -- and I'm so disappointed that the weather is predicted to be so bad... I'm sure we'll still have a nice break from our regular routine, but it would be so much better if the weather could only cooperate!

Thanks for your advice,
Sarah

I would stay away from the Hulk and Dueling Dragons in the rain. We got stuck on DD in the rain and the drops felt like tiny needles hitting my face - ouch!!! Also, right after us on The Hulk it started pouring and the next group got stuck for a few minutes before coming into the building (you know how you sit sometimes for a bit before you get to the covered area?). They were so, so wet. I felt bad for them walking around like that for the rest of the day.

Sarah, this is Florida! The weather here is extremely unpredictable. I couldn't recommend any weather sites. It was supposed to rain all Saturday, well, it rained for about 20 minutes and by 2pm it was a sunny beautiful day.

You just really never know whats going to happen until the day gets here. But no matter what the weather, I am sure you will have a great time... have fun...

I'm not usually so worried about the weather before we leave, but these predictions really have me depressed! I know things can change quickly, so hopefully it will be at least in the high 60s-low 70s and not raining the entire time!! And if we could just get 1 day in the high 70s and sunny so we could enjoy the HRH pool, that would be awesome!!! :)

Anyone else have any feedback/advice/encouraging words???

Thanks,
Sarah

I'm in the same boat as you, I'll be there Feb. 27 - March 2 and I'm hoping for good weather. It doesn't have to be hot, just nice. If it is in the 70's I can let the kids use the pool. I know last week had a couple 80 degree days, so that is encouraging. Let us know how everything turns out when you get back!

I don't live in Florida - but have been Feb and March couple of times - sometimes had a downpour - but I would imagine it would be highly unusual to have rain rain rain every day. I'm sure you'll get at least one sunny morning or afternoon or even a full day, despite all the predictions! Don't believe them there weathermen - a week or so ago - they predicted we were going to have all this snow (even in London - more than we had seen in years!!!), -15 oC, and we were all anticipating the Country coming to a standstill, people went out stocking up on tinned soup - and loads more was brought in..............we had about 2inches (if that), it was gone by the following afternoon - but it still managed to grind everything to a halt!!!!:p
