Which WDW DVC has the best pool Bar?

As far as frosty adult drinks and snacks (sandwiches, etc)

I am leaning towards BWV, but was wondering if there was a better option, that I wasnt aware of... OKW... do it have pool side service? Do any of them (durning peak summer)

No sure about the other ones, but the BWV is where we stay and the pool bar there is great. Super nice bartenders great adult & kiddie drinks and food.

I've only stayed at BWV and BCV and I prefer Hurricane Hannah's at Stormalong Bay (BCV). Although the drinks are about the same, there is a wider selection of food at HH and they have waitresses that come around and take your order.

I agree...Hurricane Hanna's just added serving the WONDERFUL Beaches 'n Cream burgers, as an expansion of B&C was not possible. It is pretty darn cool!!

I like the pool bar at the BW a lot, but it's snacks are very limited. They had chips, nachos, fruit bowls, hot dogs and maybe a sandwich. Not positive about the sandwich. Huricanne Hannahs at the BC had a much better selection, food wise. My girls were very happy at the BW, give them a hot dog, nachos and smoothie and life is good.

Gurgling Suitcase is VERY popular at OKW, albeit on the small side. The bar often spills out onto the Turtle Krawl area.

I'm very partial to the Gurgling Suitcase. Last I remember, they'll let you order from the Olivia's menu there.

Yes, and the picnic table are is nice for watching the water and the activity at the pool.

You just can't beat the loungechair service offered at BCV. I love the other pools, but nothing feels more like vacation than a frosty drink delivered to my happy hands poolside!

I have had the pleasure of experiencing all the DVC pool area bars, with the exception of WL. I have to say that the Boardwalk is my favorite, but I didn't know about the chair side service at BC. So I am moving BCV up to #1. BWV #2, SSR #3, and OKW #4 (Simply because I am too lazy and it is a bit of a hike from some parts of the pool to the Gurgling Suitcase). In addition, I often go to the pool alone (read a book) or with daughter and like to keep an eye on her/my stuff which is difficult from that great of a distance.

I'm a bit embarassed to claim expertise on pool bars. We've been members at Old Key West since 1992. In the old days, when Robbie, Rus an Emelio were there, the Gurgling Suitcase was unbeatable in my opinion. Great drinks and great conversation. Admittedly, we stayed there al ot, but a free welcome drink on each trip was a really nice touch. Occasionally, someone from Olivia's, like Jerry, would cruise the pool on crowded days taking orders....don't know whether they still do this. The Suitcase is still OK but you can't get the conversation like you used to.

Our second favorite pool bar is Hurricane Hannah's at Stormalong Bay. We've never stayed at the Beach Club Villas but used to go there a lot when you could pool hop.

For non-DVC pool bars, the Polynesian is tops. The lady (whose name I can't recall for the life of me) who runs it is really sweet. And we also like the bars at Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Jay at Blizzard Beach isquite a character---and a very good bartender.

Well I called for availbility today and both BCV and BWV were availible.... Tough choice. I didnt know BCV had pool side service.(anyone know typical end of June hours) I have to weigh that against much short walk back from Jellyrolls, but then again BCV is a shorter walk to Epcot where we are doing the Segway tour...

ugh... both are great, both have so many pluses... why couldnt one of them be sold out to take the choice out of my hands!

I have only ever used the pool bars at BC and BW. Liked them both as far as drinks go. Can't comment on the snacks.
You do have a tough choice, they are both great places! I'm sure you'll have a great time at either one!

I waited ages for someone to serve me one afternoon there. Someone came and looked - a restaurant worker I think and waked off saying someone would be here soon. I gave in an walked away minus delicious alcoholic beverage much to DHs amusement. (he cant understand why cans of Busch beer bought from Walmart are not good enough since he can get a whole pack of them for the same price of a poolside drink )

We like the Gurgling Suitcase at OKW. The drinks are delicious. The people are friendly. It is small though. Ramona makes an excellent Margarita. Her Rum Runners are pretty fantastic too.

Leaping Horse Libations at the BWV is our favorite. We like to sit at the bar while admiring the surroundings, and the bartenders are great!
