What is the best way to try to get a AAA discount on a room?
Should I book directly through AAA online or should I call Disney tomorrow and ask for a AAA discount or while I have them on the phone see if they have a special offer by our name?
I know, so many questions...

Thanks in advance!

If you want a package which includes resort, park tickets, and if you want, dining, you need to call an AAA agent directly. Only the AAA agent can give you the AAA discount on the package.

If you just want a room--without tickets or dining--you can call an AAA agent, or you can call Disney direct. If you ask for the AAA discount, a Disney person can give that to you for the room only again.

You can call Disney, get a quote, and then get a quote from an AAA agent, too. That way, if Disney has an offer for you, you'll be able to compare it.

The number of rooms available at the AAA rate are limited, so it's wise to start checking as soon as you have an idea of your dates.

It's been a long time since I've booked a AAA package, but we have used the discount on rooms a couple of times recently when AP rates weren't available. From experience, I've learned that it's best to book a AAA room-only directly with WDW. My local AAA travel consultants are just not very knowledgeable about Disney. The last time we used them, we paid more than we should have. I've read of other folks being very happy booking with AAA. I guess it depends on who helps you.
