Next year we want to go to US, IOA, SW, AQ, maybe BG & DC.
So if we don't do DC, thought it would be best to buy Orlando Flex pass (we will only be there 7 days)
But if we did do DC, (which you get SW & AQ) Then I thought I could buy 1 AP for US/IOA (and regular tickets for everyone else) and get a room discount (are there always AP room discounts available? and could I use it for 2 rooms?) we would be going in June? I would like to stay onsite at US for the front of the line pass.

What would you do?

The AP holder can only get that AP discount on the room the room they stay in

You won't be able to book two rooms with the AP rate
Sorry

One of you could buy the cheap AP and have the room in their name but the trade off of ticket cost won't offset the AP room savings

That is a lot to fit into seven days!!!

From a strict budget perspective - do the Flex ticket and drop DC, however....

The best value is another question. DC is flat out awesome, and is worth it, especially in comparison to the Flex ticket. If seven days is the max, then I would recommend DC and Aquatica as your active recovery day, they are not nearly as difficult on your feet as the others, and you are gonna need some down time with that schedule.

I normally recommend Universal later in the vacation, but with a schedule so packed, I would recommend 2-3 nights on site at Uni to start, then head over to a Sea World partner hotel. Again, DC and Aquatica midweek to refresh, then finish at Sea World/Busch Gardens. If not planned properly, there is a lot of walking at Sea World, but you can also catch a break with the shows.

It would be a shame to wait on Universal, and be flat our whipped once you get there.

We did nine days recently at Sea World hotel, but booked one night midweek at Royal pacific to get two days EP. Our schedule was much more laid back and off season.
