Which water park do you like? If you get a locker is it an all day use or do you have to pay again if you open it to get stuff out and want to re-lock it?

We just visited both waterparks with our 10 and 12yos in June. I would say it depends on how BRAVE your 9yo is. If they are a real thrill seeker, then Blizzard Beach. If they are a little more timid, then Typhoon Lagoon. You can't lose with either one though, they are both fun.
The lockers are all day, one price, you get a key on a wristband you keep with you. There are large and small lockers. We used one for the four of us and it was $8/day (plus a $5 deposit you get back when you return the key). For the life of me I can't remember if we had a large or small locker??

Hands down the favorite is Typhoon Lagoon. The Crush N Gusher is a lot of fun and something new, but its the wave pool that we spend hours in. The entire family just hangs out and gets knocked around a bit. Even when we where younger (I was 14 dsis was 10) we voted every time for Typhoon. Oh, and at Blizzard there's not much shade so it feels MUCH hotter.

Blizzard Beach! I just love that water park. I even went when I was prenant - of I did not do the slides. It was fun sitting in the wave pool and hanging out. When went when I wasn't pregnant the slides were awesome. I also love the snow look! I think a 9 year old would love it!
