I have been to Disney quite a few times, but in all my trips we have only went to Typhoon Lagoon one time about 6 years ago and have never been to Blizzard Beach.
My mom and I are taking the kids ages 6 and just turning 5 and I'm lost at which water park would be more fun for them. DS6 is fearless and loves the water and DD5 loves the water but is a little more fearful, she'll play in a kiddie pool for days, but freaks out if she can't touch. Hopefully with the whole summer before we go she will be much better about this but I would love any suggestions.
Thank you:woohoo:

My youngest kids 4 and 7 at the time preffered blizzard beach, they didn't like the wave pool at TL and thought the kiddie area at BB was better. My older kid 11 liked TL better though. Tough call.

HI!
I can't really help out much with Disney's water parks. We have actually never been to any of them in our many travels to the parks. HOWEVER we did recently go to Sea Worlds Aqautica and LOVED it. My DD is 6 and my other DD is 3. They have 2 kid pools. One that is a little more extreme and one that is made just for the little ones. My DD6 can't wait to go back when we hit it in May. Out of all the parks that was her favorite this time. She can do every ride there EXCEPT the dolphin plunge because she can't go on without a life jacket and you can't wear a life jacket on that ride. They have two wave pools and a very soft sandy beach. They also have two lazy rivers one fast and one slow. The price is reasonable for all things including food. I would also recommend purchasing a Cabanna for the day. It comes with towels, a stocked fridge with sodas juice and water, and I think you can have food delivered? I'm not sure about that one, but also as another bonus for renting one you get 20% off all purchases made inside the park. We don't have the urge to go to any other water park because of how well this fit our family....it's clean, friendly, and there is somthing for everyone to enjoy. It comes very highly recommened on our part. Also it's a good alternative to Discovery Cove, much cheaper and more for families. Any other q's i'd be happy to help. Enjoy your vacation!!! :thumbsup2

If you want to spend time in the wave pool, go to Blizzard Beach...the one at TL knocked my very petite mom down and drug her across the very rough bottom, scratching her back completely up! Can't imagine what would have happened to our kids, BB's wave pool is very relaxing and our kids had more fun in the kids area too. We loved sitting in the shade and eating one of those huge buckets of ice cream, it was a great, relaxing day.
