Which water park?

My kids are 8, 6, and 3 1/2. My 6 year old has Lipomyelomeningocele, tethered spinal cord and neurogenic bladder and bowel. She wears a KAFO brace on her left leg and hinged AFO on her right. She can walk without her braces but is unsteady at times. Also, she has no feeling below the knee on the left and we have to be careful of injury.

Okay, that was the background. We will have tickets for 3 days. Two parks and 1 of the water parks. My question is which would be best for small children especially one with special needs like my daughter has?

Oh, we are leaving this Friday.

Blizzard beach has the better, more accessible children's play area. However, it is a beach theme and everywhere else there is a lot of sand. So, if you are using a stroller as a wheelchair, you may have problems getting to certain areas. Typhoon lagoon's childrens play area could be more challenging because it is kind of hilly. Maybe uneven is a better term? However, there is an area, kind of like a lagoon which is much calmer than the wave pool that is zero entry that she may really enjoy playing in. Keep in mind, the wave pool is really rough. Unless she is a super strong swimmer, I wouldn't advise the wave pool.Honestly, with the risk of injury, I would avoid the wave pool. Sorry, I didn't answer your question directly, but hopefully I helped some.

Thank you for your insight. I am not even sure we will do the water park. We get 3 days of tickets including a water park. MK and Hollywood Studios is priority. Water park not so much.

I am so excited I can't sleep at night.:rotfl2: You would think its my first time and it's not. But for my two youngest it will be like their first time. My 6 year old has foggy memories and my 3 1/2 year old was just 9 months.

I know the feeling. I got excited about hitting the 199 day mark!! I still have to get this trip PAID for! The part I hate the most.

I would see if there is a way to get reimbursed. Otherwise, if you have the water park and more option. Maybe take them to Disney Quest one evening???

It appears that you have either a "Touch of Magic" ticket or a convention ticket. Unfortunately neither of these types of tickets can be upgraded or modified in any way.
