Which Water Park?

Hi All - need some advice please.

The family has decided that for one day, they want to go to a water park. DS is 9, DD is 7. They are both dare devils, much to my chagrin. I also heard that some of the slides are really brutal. Which park do you recommend and why?

While my kids can swim, I prefer that when they are on a slide coming down, that they are in a manageable amount of water when they get off the slide. Also, I do not swim very well.

Because we are only going for one day, it made no sense to add it to our tickets. We decided to just buy them there the day we go. Do I do this at the hotel or at the park itself?

Thanks in advance!

This will probably get moved to the theme park board to get more responses. I have DD 10, DS 8, DD5. My son is the dare devil - the girls, not so much. We have been to Typhoon Lagoon twice and they loved it!! But this year we are trying Blizzard Beach for the first time. Even though some of the rides are intense it looks like they've got a lot of stuff for all levels of thrills! Have fun :yay: !

well blizzard beach sounds like a good choice...they have many different attractions to fit age groups and what not. For the tickets, you should probobly buy them at your hotel because they might be a at a cheaper rate than at the park's front gates..

hope this helped :teeth:
