Which water park in October?

Mom on a mission to take two rugrats to one of the water parks while in the world. I thought I was sold on BB. Now I am back tracking a little. We have not been to either. Kids will not be doing the gigantic, scream your head off, give your mom a heart attack slides. Do not judge, been there some where else did not go well lol. Thus, skipping that one so no one sees the fair skinned mom trekking junior down. I saw BB is not shaded but heard they have more family rides then TL does. My 9 yr old can swim, not as well he thinks so I am little nervous there. Would love to hear from the pros about the parks based on family things and atmosphere.

Food?? Is it ok? Snacky stuff mostly? Are there lockers like in the park for a soft sided cooler? I would need to take a daily med for one of the boys.

Metal on suit rule..how dang picky are they? My suit has two decorative thin looking not fully metal thingies on the front straps where it goes up around your neck. Will that pass? Especially since I will not be on any of the slides, and as white as the moon and in a sun shirt most likely? If I can find a sun shirt suit to take place I plan on doing that in its place. Just asking.

Oh, hmmm. I am going by the calendar on wdwprep and they show the hours. eeek... Time to log into Disney. UGH... I guess that tells me how well to trust these things.

Hey Robo, can you show me where it is closed? I can not seem to find it. I checked the Disney page too. Both have hours. The Dis page list of refub has BB down 10/25-Jan then TL is closed. I am good for my dates based on every site so far....

Either way hopefully someone can answer my questions
