Which water park for us?

Part of our plot to steal some alone time during our anniversary trip is to leave our two older boys with a sitter and visit a water park one afternoon, just the two adults and the baby. (Neither one of them swims, my oldest, in fact, doesn't like water).

Which do you think would be the better choice for us? The baby will be in a waterproof sling and can enjoy lazy rivers and the sort of thing with us. We'd prob trade off to do a slide or two but we're not huge thrillseekers so biggest, highest, fastest isnt a consideration. Nice atmosphere and a chance to float somewhere together is.

Also, do either offer discount admission after a certain time? We wouldn't be arriving until after 3 pm and the water parks close at 6 pm while we are there. Not sure it's worth the full cost for three hours.

if you're not into the biggest, fastest slides, I'd go to TL... I love both...but like BB for the big stuff

I agree with the above post TL is a bit more laid back. The lazy river, shark reef, the beach at the wave pool, (beware of the big wave, they ring a bell.), and the slides are a bit more tame.

I agree I think that Typhoon Lagoon would suit you more as the lazy river there is gorgeous and it has some nice slides!

I agree with TL. This park has less waterslides and seems to be more relaxing. My husband and I love TL.

I'd go with TL (like so many posters before me).
It's very relaxed, and the lazy river is amazing! So calm and relaxing...nice water nothing too rough for the baby...you'll love it.

Sorry there is no afternoon discount. That only is good for Disney Cast Members.
