DS loves to play in the water, so we thought we might visit one of the water parks on this visit, but which one? Is one better for toddlers than the other? I've been to BB once, but it was several years ago, and WAY before I had DS, so I don't remember what the kids area was like. Any info would be appreciated! :sunny:

Both water parks have a seperate area just for kids. I personally prefer Typhoon Lagoon, but that is just my personal preference, not a vote for it being more "kid friendly".....

Also at Typhoon Lagoon, I read that at its new ride "Crush N' Gusher" they actually have a kids' activity area so that when one parent is on the ride, the other parent can entertain the children in the kids' area......

Our 2 year old loved the toddler area at Blizzard Beach. They had a set of 4 waterslides that DD would not get off. All 4 were accessed from one staircase, so DD could choose which slide to go down when she got the top. The top of slides is covered giving shade and is tall enough to accomodate a 5 foot person who doesn't have to slouch over too much.
We tried to take her to other areas in the kiddie area, and was more interested in going back to the 4 waterslides. She screamed when it was time to dry off and go back to the room.
