I am torn between which water park, blizzard beach or typhoon lagoon would be better for a 2 1/2 yo and 6(almost 7) yo? Both love the water and the 6 yo can swim. However, the 6 yo is not a daredevil type and might like a smaller slide just not a huge one. Any suggestions?

Also, is the wave pool at typhoon lagoon too rough?

We only have one morning for a water park, help use pick which one!

We chose Typhoon Lagoon for our family when our DDs were 5 and 7 because it sounded a little tamer than Blizzard Beach. It worked out very well. The wave pool is huge and fun for lots of ages, just keep little hands tightly held during waves. There were both small slides for my less adventurous and smaller 5 year old and bigger slides and rides for my risk taking 7 year old and her dad. Have fun!!

We went to TL and loved it. The girls were almost 3 and almost 8. The kiddie area was fantastic for our youngest. Little slides and very shallow water to splash in. The wave pool is very rough, so be extra careful.

Mine were 3 and 7 last summer and LOVED TL! It was my son's favorite park. Both kids really enjoyed it (ds, who was 7, is NOT a daredevil either - by any means!). Can't wait to go next year.
