Hi All,
We are staying at Embassy suites I-Drive South, and want to visit Walmart. What location would be best/quickest for us to visit?.
We also don't drive so do you know aprox how much a taxi would cost us?.
Apart from Mears+Star Taxi's(the only 2 i know)what other's can you recommend?.
Also is there much difference in the 2 Walmart's,which do you prefer and why?.
Thanks everyone.x.

Michelle I would definately say that the one on Sand Lake Road on the way to the Florida Mall is the closest, can't tell you about taxis though as I always drive.

There is a Walmart on Sand Lake Road where it meets Turkey Lake Road. I prefer this one to the one on John Young Parkway.

at the bottem of i-drive south there is a big publix supermarket by the premium outlets which you could get to by using the i-trolley as an alternative to walmart

I prefer the Turkey Lake Road one too, as it's newer, but the John Young Parkway one is probably identical in terms of stock and it's nearer to International Drive. A taxi was about $10 each way from Sheraton Studio City (across from Wet n Wild) This was in 2005 but I wouldn't imagine it'd be that different now :)

Thanks everyone :thumbsup2.
I can't see a taxi costing too much though, how much tip do you give a taxi driver now-adays :confused3.x.
