As I get older I seem to add vitamins. Right now I am taking Vitamin B, C & E, D, And Calcium. What about you?

Penny

I take a multivitamin. Usually the mega woman, from GNC.

In addition, I take a calcium supplement, and extra vit. C.

You don't really want to know, do you? ;)

I take a multivitamin for "mature" adults (it has lutien for the eyes). Then I take vitamin C, vitamin B, fiber tablets, fish oil, flax seed oil, and co-q 10. I used to take vitamin E, but my pharmacist DD told me to stop taking it - that recent studies shows that it may be more harmful than helpful for the heart.

I know, I know, I probably flush most if these things down the toilet, but it makes me feel better about the poor diet that I have.

ETA - I know that this isn't a vitamin, but I also take an 81 mg aspirin each day too.

I take a multivitamin (Centrum) once a day, a Calcium supplement three times a day, and Fish Oil twice a day.

I take a vegan multivitamin and a vegan omega-3 fatty acid supplement (like fish oil but it's made from sea algae) when I think of it, which is about 3 times a week.

I take a Flintstones Complete chewable every day. I know, I know, I'm no kid. But it adds some vitamins to my body which otherwise would not be there!

I take a multivitamin (1x/day) and calcium (2x/day). And I try, more and more all the time, to eat a balanced diet. Hard to do when you can't eat most fruits and veggies and have problems with dairy.

What does the fish oil do for you?

Penny

It is good for cardiac health. It can help to bring your cholesterol down. And it has been said that it is good for your skin and joints too.

The Omega 3s in it are supposed to be for lots of stuff. I take it for my heart, and I have also read that it is suggested for people with MS. That is why I take Flax Seed Oil as well. ::yes::

Women's One A Day Plus Iron, which is what my doctor recommended. It's in my daily pill case right with my migraine preventers so I don't forget to take it!

I try to remember to take calcium twice a day, Ester C, multivitamin for seniors(over 55). They don't have iron. I take some prescription meds also, plus the 81 mg aspirin.I take a fish oil capsule. Remember to check the label, and buy the ones with no mercury.

When I met my husband, the pharmacist, all I took was a multivitamin.

Now I take multivitamin, calcium citrate, vitamin C, garlic and acidophilus. He takes 10 other ones in addition to what I take.

I just started taking 1000 mcg. 0f B12. I am anemic and I hate iron pills and I was feeling way run down and tired all the time. If I forget to take I am so tired...I don't know if it is a placebo effect or what :confused3

I take C, calcium and a B complex. The B helps with my restless legs at night.

I take a multivitamin, vitamin D, vitamin C and OsteoBiFlex

I take a good multi-vitamin, flax seed oil, fish oil, glucosamine condroitant, vit E, & extra Vit C during winter months
I also take dong qui, black cohish, htp-5, ecchinacea, which are herbs.
And I'm only 29! I do feel much healthier though. I will say that this past week, my son was sick for 5 days, my dh for 5 days, my daughter for 2 and I felt sick with the flu (body aches, fever, sore throat), for about 4 hours. I popped vit c every hour for a few hours when I started feeling sick, and my immunity built itself back up quickly!
