We are booked into BCV in a studio for 6 nights, but I haven't a clue what floor/view request to ask for. Can anyone advise please, we have two young children.

Thanks :)

Ditto. I would like an Epcot view, but I heard there are no "Epcot" views. What do I ask for? The East side of the building?

If you haven't seen Diszip's web site take a look...

Diszip's BCV website

It has floor plans, room views, location of smoking rooms and those 2 bedroom w/2 queens.

I'm not sure if they are accepting the 'Epcot view' request or not. I'm of the opinion that there are not really any great views at BCV ... and not any really bad ones either. It is a small resort so none of the rooms are too far away from any thing.

Requests one might make:
Non-Smoking
Pool view
Courtyard view
Woods view
Epcot view or equivalent
Near elevator (could specify main elevator)
Near parking lot
1st floor
Top floor

Hi everyone,

We just stayed at BCV over Easter week. Our Studio was # 463.

It was on the 4th floor and had a double balcony because it was on the corner of the building next to the stairwell. We also had a view of Spaceship Earth and Illuminations every night.

The laundry is on the 4th floor also, which was convenient.

I rented points, but the person who booked my reservation only put in a request for "upper floor, non-smoking". Oh, and we checked in at 1 pm. I think we got the best Studio in the place. The studio does face the service road to Epcot, so that's the trade-off to the great view. The traffic wasn't too bad, but if you were on a low floor I think the traffic noise may be louder.

We stayed for 5 nights in January in room 136 and it was great. We walked out to the quiet pool and we had patio doors off the living room as well as off our bedroom. It was great with kids as DH or I could step inside for something they wanted or just sit and relax knowing we were steps from our room. We didn't think we would like a ground floor room but we were happy with the decision. We had just left an upper floor at SSR and it was a nice change. What I wouldn't do to be there now. It's freezing here!!

I did "Epcot view" in April 2006 and didn't like it - the noise from the street below kept me up at night.

In Oct 2006 and Feb 2007 we did "pool view". Much nicer and quieter! I always request "anything but the first floor" as well.
