Which Value Resorts?

Looking to get away just DH and I, and I was wondering about the Value resorts, if there is one that is better with no children, and why do you like that resort? Or should I just stick with a moderate resort and not save the money.

ASMu is really nice for adults. There just seems to be less children there. That said, POP is also great for adults. You can take nice romantic walks by the lake, read the little signs with fun facts about all the different years, and walk through some memories with all the giant icons. There are also great shadow box displays in the lobby that are full of mementos. POP is overall a great fun resort for any age of guests.

The only value resort I've stayed at is Pop Century. You'll see a mixture of families, couples and solo adults. It works on all levels.

I have stayed at POP and ASMu. My preference is by far POP. It is a value with a mod feel.

I have stayed at Pop Century 2 times, and its a great cheap hotel, my parents feel there is no difference between value and moderate. The only thing about Pop Century that I noticed besides long walks to the buses was when you are leaving a park at closing time Pop Century bus line has the longest wait and the fewest buses. We are going in September and we are going to try Movies this time

Having stayed at all the values over the years, I find ASMu to be the most "adult-oriented" and the quietest. Pop is just to large and noisy for me. My fav section is Broadway - great theming, close to the quiet pool and parking lot (if you drive).

I would upgrade to a moderate. We just got back yesterday from a week at Pop. I wouldn't stay there again without my very young daughter who loved it.

For just myself and DH I would book POFQ without hesitation. It's well worth the difference in price for an adult getaway.
