Hands down All Star MUSIC is our FAVOURITE!
We've found that Sports has a LOT of teenage boys, and that Movies has a lot of younger children. So Music is just quieter for us.
The last time we were there, we had a refurbished room and it was beautiful.
I have friends that absolutely love POP, which I just don't understand ... I stayed there once and I will never go back. The food court is horrendous ... sooo small for ALL those guests! The food courts at the All Stars are so much bigger and there are 3 of them in total. DH wasn't with me on my trip to POP, but we went to POP for breakfast one day on another trip so that I could show them the resort, and after our food court experience, he said "NEVER NEVER NEVER".
And the All Stars don't share busses during really busy times. In all my trips to WDW, the only horror bus story I have is waiting for 90 min for a bus back to POP after park closing. The food court/store was closed by the time we got back to the resort so I couldn't get my bedtime cup of tea.
IMHO the amenties don't accommodate the number of guests the resort holds.
And if there are only 4 of you, and you plan to just use the room to sleep and shower, I wouldn't spend the extra on a Moderate resort ... we only do Mods when it's Free Dining so we get the better meal plan.
Oh, and we've been there at the same time as cheerleaders ... just stay clear of them in the pools as they like to build pyramids, and practically landed on my children
and they are incapable of deciding what they want from the drink island, so they congregate in groups in front of the stations ... I politely told them that I DID know what I wanted and that I'd be going ahead of them.
It's not really as bad as it sounds!
Happy Planning!
