Let's see, I know how many days until our next 2 trips. People at work make a game of asking throuhout the year "How many days?"

Trying to figure out how to cnvince DW we need enough points for January thru Febuary in a 1BR at OKW for retiremnet?

I put fan because I think we have a controlled obsession. But we are definately Disney diehards! We did two cruises this year and are going to WDW in December!

Next year our big trip will be Hawaii, but we are planning to get back to WDW in October.

Lots of Disney DVD's, Disney Classic Collection, Disney Pins!

We love DVC and it was one of the best purchaes we ever made! Did an add-on last year so we are now at 400 which I think is where we'll stay!

I answered "controlled". I wouldn't go into debt over Disney or DVC and we visit just once a year. (Not sure how the "just" got into that sentence. When I was growing up, going just once every several years was the norm.)

I have to say that I really do love the parks, DVC and the wonderful time our family has at WDW, but I don't go crazy over the "magic" thing.

Another diehard here! My life has two seasons: (1) I'm at WDW, and (2) I'm getting ready for WDW! I keep available a little box of things that always go with me, that I can look through to keep the feeling going...

I voted Fan - I'm quite sure my obsession is controllable - well at least I think so - my family might have a different opinion!

1 week trip Dec 2002, member's cruise & 3 days at WDW in February 2003. 2 days Easter week 2003, 4 night cruise in September with 3 days at WDW 2003 and just last night Dh "mentioned" going to WDW for Christmas. Ok, we do have a week planned to go up north in July, but with the "it's never getting warm around here", that week might just turn into a trip to WDW just to warm up.

I'm quite sure my obsession is under control

I actually marked myself as a "fan with controlled obsession". But then I see cheyita's post:

I am a serious fan, but I couldn't say diehard because I had a friend who bought all things Mickey, including having a separate Christmas tree for her Disney ornaments, Mickey-related vanity license plates, etc.

Uh...we have a Christmas tree dedicated to Disney.


And, er....we have license plates that read "VWL-BWV".




Uh.....isn't that normal?

TiggerFreak, everyone at work also asks me constantly "how many days?". I'm always ready with the reply, as is my DH, DS & DD if you ask them. Our whole family knows exactly how much longer we have until we're "home" again!!

I joined the DVC forum because it's the only place I could find people as Disney crazy as I am and they already know the basics. (no posts like "which is better on or off site?")

I admit it, I am definitely without a doubt Disney obsessed and darn proud of it!!!! I go to WDW approx every 3-4 months for trips never less than 10 days and at times up to over 2 weeks in length, I read the DIS boards on a daily basis, I always have at least one trip planned and most times I have 2 or 3 trips planned, I schedule business seminars I have to attend around trips to Orlando so I will be near WDW, my casual wardrobe consists of almost every piece of clothing with something Disney on it, my office at work is decorated with a total Disney/Mickey Mouse theme, I have a group of friends that I met through Disney pins and the Disney Store that I get together with once a month and we do nothing but talk about Disney and pins for hours, I have a vanity DVC license plate, Mickey antenna topper(I even have a variety of Disney antenna toppers that I change for the seasons/holidays), a Mickey sunshade on my car and also a Mickey key chain, I have a Disney themed Christmas tree, almost every room in my house has something in it with Disney on it, our 2 cats are named Sebastian and Ariel and our bird is Daisy, my children's nurseries were decorated with Disney, whenever I buy a baby gift for anyone it is always something Disney, 90% of gifts given to me by friends and family are Disney related and I love it, and both my computers have Disney screen savers, mousepads, a Mickey cursor and Disney start up music. Yes.....I would say I definietly fit into category one! LOL!!

Our first trip home will be in just a few days now and we are out of control. But we were uncontrolable even before we bought DVC. We finally used our heads and bought DVC, and now it's just gotten worse. But it's a nice worse, and so much fun.

I'm a super-fan!! Just got back from the BCV and it was heavenly! DH is making me go to Hawaii in 2004 and it is making me crazy! How can I wait until 2005 to visit the world? Ok, Hawaii is pretty nice, but I need the variety and action of a Disneyworld vacation.
We also did a 100 point add-on in April and we spent WAY too much this past week. Doing our best to keep the economy recovering!

I voted fan. My Dh would call me obbessed but he hasnt read some of these replies.
I love to look at "MY" boat every Sat, Sun and Thurs.
I have a ton of Mickey stuff and I read the boards every day, but I also long to vacation in other places<gasp>.
AS long as I get to see Mickey once a year, I will be ok.
