Which TS should we pay out of pocket?

We are using the dining plan for the first time and just realized we will have to pay for one TS out of pocket if we keep all our current reservations. Which would be the most economical one to pay for (we are 2 adults and 1 child)

Chef Mickey (dinner)
Tusker House (breakfast)
Le Cellier
50's Prime
O'Hana (dinner)
1900 Park Faire (dinner)
Crystal Palace (breakfast)

Obviously not Le Cellier. I am thinking Crystal Palace breakfast, which is our last day? I recall in the past, it was on the lower end price for a breakfast buffet.

Tusker House breakfast is a little cheaper than Crystal Palace, but if it's earlier in your trip and something comes up where you'd miss a reservation, then sometimes its better to plan on paying OOP for a meal later in the trip.

If you go to Allears.net, you can actually get an idea of the cost for each restaurant you have mentioned. Then, based on that make your decision.

Thanks, guys! I will check it out on Allears. If CP isn't too much more than TH, we may plan on the CP. So many things do come up that one may get canceled anyways during the week.

Totally agree with this.

Rule of thumb it is best to pay for a breakfast if you have to. And many people have reported paying earlier in their vacation only to have a credit left over due to something coming up.

So if it is a couple dollars difference I would go ahead and pay for the CP meal.

Enjoy your trip!!!

I'd agree with prime time especially since you have some flexibility there. You may not all want/need dessert and most people say you can share the friend chicken if that is something your interested in. I think that is the only meal that you have where you can limit your spending easily. Buffets are still buffets.

If you opt for breakfast to pay oop I would still not pay child oop at buffet. I'd use child credit there and pay oop for child at 50's (only about $9)

Good things to think about. If I can talk DH into sharing a bigger meal at 50's, that may work perfect. Thanks:hippie:
