I see both Amy's and Gold Seal transfer papers reccomended, can any body who has tried both tell me which is better, easier to use or the pros, cons of each. I have spent a lot of time and money on shirts and ink and I want my shirts to last. Thank you everyone for all your help. Kathleen

I can comment on Amy's paper. It is dark transfer paper that is very easy to use. You do not have to flip the image. I have used it on dark and light shirts and they turned out great. I have made close to 100 shirts for scouts, trips, and family and have not had any problems. Some of the shirts have been washed many times and they still look great. If you want any more info, pm me. The shipping is very quick.

I know this thread is out-dated, but I just wanted to give a shout out for Amy's transfer paper....I ordered 20 sheets on Dec. 23rd, and by Dec. 28th, I had it in hand! It shipped very quickly. We had our family Christmas, and I pre-washed all my shirts, twice, then dried using no fabric softener. My DH printed out all the designs onto the paper, trimmed them, and then ironed them on. The process was very quick...and I loved that they printed without flipping any image, and on any color shirt. We made 17 shirts for our trip in March, and they look awesome! I can't say enough nice things about this paper....it is slightly more expensive than other brands, but I think the quality is worth it.

That is great to know! Working on items for our trip in March... gotta get busy!!

Also good to know, I've put an order in for some and I'm so nervous about doing the t-shirts. I'm sure I just need to take it step by step, hope they turn out as good as some I've seen!!

I think I will try to find Amy's link so I can make our shirts for the Disney cruise. I tried tee shirt transfers I bought at the store and they came off the shirts the first washing. I was so unhappy after making the 20 shirts. Thanks for the tip about Amy's transfers

I use Amyy's all the time and they are the best that I have found. Good luck with whatever you decide, but, I know you will be 100% pleased with Amy's.
