Does anyone know the difference between Tour Guide Mike and the Unofficial Guide as far as touring strategies? Which did you prefer, and why?

I was thinking of getting UG just for the lines app (but I don't have an iPhone so I was just planning on using my web services on my smart phone). Can I pay just for the app instead of the full price?
