Which to rope drop -- Peter Pan or Pooh?

Peter Pan and Pooh are both at the very top of my daughters' "must do" lists. We plan to do one followed by the other right when we get to MK. We always get to the park early. We don't want to use either for FP -- would rather use those for Belle and the mountains. Plus, I'd like them to see the queue for Peter Pan. I think it's worth a short wait.

Touring plans says do Pooh then Peter Pan... but I feel the opposite may be better. Should we head straight to Peter Pan, then Pooh? Or Pooh, then Peter Pan? I assume many fewer will be rushing to Pooh.

Thanks in advance. :)

Without a doubt, in my opinion, do PP first and preferably at rope drop. That line builds quick and is a popular rope drop destination for many.

Pooh is much less popular and will likely still be a walk on/very low wait when you're done with PP. Not sure when you're going but you could probably even do several rides on it early without much wait in the first hour of so after park opening.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. Touring Plans seems to think it will take us 20 minutes to get through PP then another 25 to wait for Pooh. I doubt it?

While I can't say I've sat there and watched Pooh wait times in the first hour after park opening - 25 mins seems high to me.

As an aside, Pooh is an easier ride to get as a 4th+ FP later in the day if for some reason your morning plans go haywire.

It depends on the the time of year you’re going. We’ve done rope drop and have been able to get through many of the popular rides in a very short amount of time the first hour the park is open.

I wonder if TP is recommending Pooh first because many head to PP and which creates a temporary wait, which dies down a bit before the park gets busy.

We are going November 29th. It's a Thursday, and I believe there is a Christmas party that day, so its predicted to be a "slower" day. I think TP actually rates MK a 1 that day.

I would rope drop PP, and either do pooh standby in the morning before the line builds too much, or hope to grab it as a 4th FP later in the day.

PP is far busier throughout the day than Poo. If you want to do PP and can't get a Fp, do RD.

You should be able to get a FP+ for Pooh within 30 minutes pretty much all day long. Definitely go to PP first. Enjoy!

Peter Pan as well... We will be there next Friday at rope drop (per my daughter)... She loves Peter Pan and it can be a long wait if you don't rope drop or fast pass... Our intentions was to hit Haunted house after but I Didn't think about hitting Pooh right after, i think i will put that on the list....

Absolutely Peter Pan. The wait time stays pretty high most of the day. Knock it out first then head over to Pooh.

Thanks! We are planning on FP later in the day for the mountains (we have to rider swap them), then hopefully Jungle Cruise (if its Jingle, if its regular, we'll just FP Pooh, I think)

I soo wanted to ride PP I made sure to RD it after a quick pic in front of the castle. I know this will sound silly but I actually wish the line was a little longer because the queue is cool but because there was no line we breezed right past, my children would definitely not have going slow and looking at it/experiencing it when there was no need to wait in line. I guess what I am saying is in retrospect I probably should have done Pooh then PP in order to have a little bit of wait time at PP.

That's a good point!

Peter Pan... Absolutely 100 percent definitely no question about it... The queue is a little bit nicer now that they have made changes but many times you can find a much shorter wait for Pooh.

The queue at Pooh is cute as well. Sometimes my 6 year old has more fun waiting in line than on the ride!

Definitely go to PP. Pooh's wait times are usually decent depending on the time of year you are travelling.
