Which to pick? Yacht or Beach?

Our best trip yet was last summer at Yacht Club. We had a first floor room by the quiet pool. The kids could swim and we could get ready. We didn’t have to worry they were all the way at the main pool and we couldn’t get a hold of them . Just walk out on the patio and call them in . It was like having our own pool and hot tub ! No carpet and a walk-in shower . The room was awesome! Perfect location!
We were in that area too, first floor towards the tennis courts loved it.

I think the proximity to Epcot from BC is amazing! We loved the pool and amenities.

I will say I felt the BC rooms needed a big refurb. I was unhappy with the physical shape of the rooms. Dirty couch, lots of dings and scratches on the wooden furniture. Bathrooms were clean and fine.

I have nothing to add about YC.

In general, you cannot beat the location of either, especially with the ages of your kids. Great access to HS and Epcot. We had no issue with bus to MK.

I prefer the room design at YC and really like that all the rooms have a balcony.
I didn’t like the quick service options as they are very limited.
Beach Club quick service has more options(still not as many as other places)
This would not bother me but it bothered DH when he had to go over to Beach Club every morning to get his breakfast.

Either one is a good choice. Just depends what is more important to you.

I don't think you would really dislike either. As a previous poster stated, I personally would go with whichever is cheaper....and as another poster also indicated, this will almost always be YC. And I don't think this has anything to do with the price of either, since racks are pretty much the same, it is just a reflection of availability and the fact that BC almost always sells out first.

No bad choices here so this is exactly what you call a luxury problem to have. It just comes down to opinion and preference. I enjoy the refined aspect of YC and the lobby is super chill!

I have stayed in both and each have their perks. I just switched our split stay next week from GF/BCV to YC CL/BCV :)

The YC always feels calmer and quieter to me, but love them both.

Our family is about to shrink down to 3 kids from 7. Oldest graduated college and lives in California. 2nd oldest graduated college and lives in Alabama. Twins will be graduating high school in May and both have joined the Navy and shipping out in June. That leaves our 14, 12, and 11 year olds. One would think with less kids, the Disney trips would be cheaper!!

Anyways, We showed the last three kids some Youtube videos of several resorts for our upcoming January trip and they want to stay at the Yacht or Beach Club for the awesome pool.

Anyone have a preference regarding the Yacht or Beach? Pros? Cons?

Many thanks in advance for your opinions!
Both are great and you can't go wrong. YC rooms look a little more upscale probably. The Beach Club rooms look like you are visiting your Grandma's house in Cape May and she hasn't redecorated since 1987.

For us the proximity of the BC wing to the International Gateway at Epcot was fantastic. When we stayed at BC we got park hoppers and made a reservation each night at a different country in World Showcase. We would do another park in the morning and then come back to BC, relax for a bit and make the short walk to World Showcase for dinner and then come back for pool time. We asked for a room that was as far out on that wing as possible and we had an outside door at the end of the hallway that was about 20 feet from our room. That door put us right next to the bride over to IG.
