Which Time Would You Choose?

I'm trying to decide which time I should choose for an ADR at the Yachtsman for our trip in June. On the day we're planning to eat at the Yachtsman, we'll be at MK earlier in the day, and we have an 11:30 ADR for lunch at LTT. We will probably be back at BWI by 3:00 to relax, shower, etc. We don't have plans for after dinner...we'll probably walk around and maybe go to Jellyrolls for a while.

I have been hoping to get something around 6:15-6:30, but I haven't had any luck. We currently have a time of 7:05 (table for 2). 7:05 would be perfect if we're seated in a reasonable amount of time, but I've read some horror stories about long waits at YS. I can also get an ADR for 5:45. Should I take the early time, or keep what I have?:confused3

I would keep what you have. Our schedule is generally the same type of thing you are doing. A park morning, a break in the afternoon and then head back out about 6ish with dinner around 6:30 or so. For us the 5:45 would be cutting it just a bit short on the "downtime" so I would prefer later than earlier. We haven't eaten at YS in a few years, so not sure about the delay in seating. However that can probably happen anywhere and I would be willing to take my chances.

I am sure you are doing so, but continue to check online for changes in reservation times. Sometimes as dates get closer, people change things up or cancel for one reason or another and you may find that something a bit earlier will become available.

Have a Wonderful Trip! :goodvibes

I would take the later time. The atmosphere becomes more adult the later you dine.

I've dined at YSH at least 6 times and have never had a long table wait.

we went twice in the past 2 weeks and we had an unusual experiece. At 5:30 it was really quiet... we could practicly hear everyone fork in their plate and felt out of place with our girls althought they were quiet. We went another evening for our anniversary at 9:15pm and it was soo noisy and soo many crying children and laughter everywhere. We joked around that the best time to have adult time was early and the best time to bring the girls would have been later in the evening. Both times we were seated within 10 minutes

That being said, I would keep the later time because you are having lunch that day and it might be too much food in too little time if you choose the 5:45pm

Thanks! I thought about it, and 5:45 is just WAY too far out of my dining comfort zone! I was able to move it up to 6:50 today, so I'll keep trying for 6:30, but I'm fine with what I have if it can't be changed again.
