I'm trying to squeeze to vacations out of tickets I will be purchasing. We have one day tickets left from our last trip along with 4 day waterpark. I'm trying to decide between 6 day park hopper no/exp and 7 day base ticket with no exp. The 6 day is $40 more (for all of us together) than the 7 day and one less day. We hav'nt purchased hoppers in years because we did'nt hop much when we had them and it did'nt seem worth it. We don't do the early entry or late park closings and it did'nt seem worth it when we only bought 3 day tickets to add the hopper option. On our last couple of trip there was a couple of times I thought it would be good if we could hop, like when trying to get ressies or trying to pick which parks what day because of events taking place or park closing times. So what are your opinions is it worth the extra $40 and one less day to hop or would you rather have an extra day? Sorry for the rant, thanks Linda :)

personally I say go with the hoppers - we always get them - DH won't ever go with just a base ticket. he likes to hop I guess :cool1:

The per day cost for a No Expire Ticket without either hopping or WPF&M is

10 day - $47.50
9 days - $51.67
8 days - $54.25
7 days - $55.57
6 days - $58.00
5 days - $66.40
4 days - $74.75

For either hopping or WPF&M, to be added to the above, divide $54 by the number of days

You can hold off on the decision to hop until after you get there. But for a ticket that will last more than one vacation you have to make up your mind during the first vacation. Then add the hopping feature before your go home if not sooner.

You do need to plan your vacations first. You don't have to name the exact parks but you do need to declare the dates you will be in the parks.

For non-expiring tickets, plan all the way to the end of the vacation during which the ticket will be exhausted.

Since you mentioned 6 day non-expiring or 7 day NE, I take it you go for about three days in the parks for each vacation. An NE ticket should last for at least two complete vacations without help from a leftover one day or a newly bought ticket near the end.
