I have 5 day and 7 day MYW tickets and also 6 day PH. Is it best to use the ticket that cost the most when bridging? The reason I ask is for our upcoming trip I need 7 day PH so I wasn't sure if I should use my 7 day tickets and add hopping or use the 6 day PH and only need to add one one extra day to them. The next year I would be use whichever tickets I don't use on this trip to do the bridging to APs.

It would depend on when those tickets were purchased. Any ticket that was minted prior to Feb. 12, 2017 would have whatever gate value it had on 2/11/17 applied to an upgrade. A ticket minted on or after that date would have the current gate value applied up until the next ticket price increase.

Thanks, they were all bought prior to Feb 12, 2017. So, I guess its best to save the tickets with the highest value to use for the upgrade. We are planning 7 park days so I was thinking that linking the 7 day tickets was best for that for making FP and all I would need to do would be to add PH once we arrive.

Since the ticket is older (pre 2/12/2017) you will be charged the difference between what that ticket was valued on 2/12/17 and value today at the gate. Plus the charge for adding PH.

Because you'll be paying the upgrade cost anyway, the 7-day ticket is probably best as you can make FP+ for all days. If you use one of the shorter tickets, you won't be able to do the last 1-2 days of your vacation until after arrival and doing the upgrade.

Enjoy your vacation!
