We're going in Oct for 22 days.

I already have the Disney tickets sorted (unlimted 21 day), but I can't decide on the other park tickets.

Last time we had the flexi 4 park tickets which were really good as they covered 14 days that we were there. We went to sea world 3 times and IOA (twice) and Universal once.

This time we plan on also going to Busch Gardens. I've seen the free consque day posts already on the site pages.

Ummm, do I pay nearly £400 for the 3 of us to have 14 days unlimted entry into the other parks, or buy seperate tickets for the parks with free but conseq. day entry.

Oh! I can't decide. Can anyone help

Need your help

I guess it depends on how many days you will be going to US/IOA, personally I would not spend £400 on any tickets if I was only visiting them once or twice.

If you are doing the same as last time and doing IOA twice and US once, despite the fact that you go to Sea World, I would not say it warrants spending nearly £400.

However, as you going for 22 days you do have the time to vist the parks more, and I would presume it would be a bit fiddly sorting out Sea World and Busch Gardens tickets with your second option.

So if you plan on visiting IOA/US a number of times, as well as SW/BG £400 suddenly doesn't sound too bad.

It's so hard to know what to do isn't it?

I usually work out how many days I am likely to go to which park and go from there - I know Universal are doing a fantastic deal at the moment which gives you free entry for children per adult ticket purchased - I can't remember the exact details but it is ridiculously good value (if you are spending 5 days or less at IOA/USF I think)

Here is some info for you on the Universal deal I mentioned in my post above:

KIDS FREE & THREE DAYS FREE
You will receive one kid's ticket (ages 3-9) for FREE for every ticket purchased. And, you will also receive three (3) additional days for FREE, for a total of five (5) consecutive days of admission.

HTH sorry I was a bit vague in the first post!

Might be worth getting these and doing BG/SW separately, I've not done the sums but it might work out cheaper?

Hi,

I've got the same dilemma.

Bought the 21 day Disney ticket which will cover the 22 day holiday over Christmas and NY but am not sure about the Flexticket. Will probably go for the 14 day Flexticket and start to use it five or six days into the holiday so it covers the middle section of our break - the consequetive days bit is the pain.

Had good quote from Destini Tickets - £105 per adult ticket - this seems the best price I have seen, unless, of course, someone out there knows different.......

We've decided on the 21 day BG/SW tickets (approx £55) and Universal power passes ($120 +tax) to give us maximum flexibility (rather than teh cheapest option) over an extended holiday :) I also chucked in a USF AP for one of the group instead of a Power Pass which will more than pay for itself with discounts & free parking :thumbsup2

If you go every year the Annual Passes for Universal are excellent value for money.

They only cost $180 and if you wish to renew, like we are doing shortly, they are only $100, you get a host of benefits including free parking and discounts at shops and restaurants within the parks.

And it's quite cool having a card with your picture on ;)

We bought both a 14 Ultimate Pass to Disney and a 14 day Flex Pass 4 Park for Universal, etc last year.

What I found was that the Flex Pass cost the same as a 2 day pass to Universal/IoA and a 1 day pass to Sea World. It made it miles better value especially as we like Universal the best out of all the parks.

we've just bought our universal tickets and for 5 of us the tickets cost us £180 give or take a £1. we used the 2 days get 3 days free, plus kids free option.
we intend buying our sea world ticket when we get there so for us it was the cheapest option. the 5days and 5 tickets for just under £200 was a bargain in our opinion and an option to look into.
