We (DH and I, no kids) are going to break our 13 day trip into three different hotels. (Sept 11-23, 2004).
First we want to stay offsite as we will be doing nonDisney things, like Universal and Cape Canaveral for a few days. Then we will move to one of the hotels on Hotel Blvd. We love that location - being able to walk to DD each evening. Lastly we want to stay onsite. Probably a moderate, but if we can find a good price deal on a deluxe...well, that would be great. Anyone care to make some suggestions for all three legs of our trip.

go look for Ray's post on the Marriott - they are having their special Sun-Thurs night $20.11?

this is a great price for a DD hotel.

this site had good rates for the Swan and Dolphin hotels - you can rent points from a DVC member and stay at BWV, BCV, VWL or OKW. OKW is the cheapest and their studios have 2 queen beds the other only have a queen and sleeper sofa.

have you though about staying at a Universal hotels with the front of line access - it is pretty nice.

this site has some nice hotels (if you don't want to pay for a Universal hotels) that are very close to Universal.

I would like to second the recommendation of staying onsite at Universal for FOTL access. We just returned from three nights at the Royal Pacific Resort and loved it. The FOTL access cannot be beat -- for example, the regular line on Tuesday evening for Shrek in 4D was 120 minutes and we were inside in about 10 minutes. You should seriously consider staying onsite at Universal. Our room was $110 using an Entertainment Rate.
