Which three days in August would you go to avoid crowds?

I've read somewhere that Thursday is the least crowded day overall at DL, but it's also the Early Entry day isn't it? We will not be eligible for EE.

I can choose three of these days in mid August to do Disneyland:

Weds (we'll be exhausted from a late flight arrival the night before and might not make opening on this day), Thurs, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday

We want to do both parks, which park would you go to on which day?

Thanks.

Three of the four days that you mentioned (Thurs, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) are Magic Morning early entry days, so you will not be able to avoid at least one Magic Morning day.

Weekends are generally more crowded than weekdays, so I would definitely choose Thursday and Friday.

Thursday morning at 9:00am would be a great time to visit Toontown.

A great time to visit Fantasyland would be 8:00am on Friday morning.

Hopefully someone with more experience can help you decide about Wednesday vs. a weekend day. :goodvibes

Hope this helps. :earsboy:

We always go mid-August, never go on weekends. Wed or Thursday would be my overall choice. We are skipping Wed. this year to hit the beach. The very last few days of August the crowds back off because of schools starting up. Sorry, not much help but this is the way we do a mid-August trip.

Wondering why you don't get a MM ~ 3 day pass right? Is it a military or convention pass? If I were you I'd pick Wed-Fri. Just get up and get going Wed. morning.
