Which terminal, north or south?

I'm paying off the rest of my holiday next week :cheer2::dance3::banana::cool1::yay::woohoo: and wanted to book the hotel we're staying overnight at then too.

But I've just looked at my details, and I can't see where the flight is leaving from.

I'm going with Thomas Cook, Airtours. Do the always go from the same side?

I wanted to get the hotel you can walk from to the airport, but I can't really do that unless I know whether I'm going from south or north terminal.

Is TC always the same or will I have to wait until nearer the time to find out and book the hotel? I don't want to leave it too late.

Thanks in advance!

It doesn't actually really matter as the two terminals are connected by a monorail which only takes a couple of minutes!

We prefere the Sofitel (North) to the Hilton (South) and it is usually the cheaper of the 2 and we fly Virgin who go from the South terminal!

Thanks, that's good to know! I have to say, I liked the look of the Sofitel more than the Hilton too.

Is the monorail just outside then? I wanted a hotel as close as possible to the terminal because I'm on my own holding all the luggage for the three of us, but if it's just as easy to step outside and hop on the monorail, Sofitel is the winner!

The Sofitel is about two minutes walk from the monorail and it's all on the same level, so no lifts or stairs to worry about, plus it's under cover all the way.

We do to its much nicer, you can get a trolley in the sofitel to put your luggage on to take to the south side

We always stay at the Sofitel too, it really is no trouble to catch the monorail to the South terminal.

Sofitel it is! The trolley swung it I think lol

Can you pay upfront, because I read you pay on arrival? I'd rather pay this week at the TA while I have the money, can TA's book and pay for it for you?

I don't about travel agents but I have always booked it through Holiday Extras or last time I did it direct with Sofitel. I have always had to pre-pay by card (Debit card was fine). The price for room only is the same on both so I book direct as it was easier to request a runway view room :thumbsup2

You will should be able to just book a twin room and request a rollaway bed for your youngest :thumbsup2
