Trying to decide which to get a FP for and which one to run to at RP.

Thinking Soarin FP and going to TT since we can hopefully do it twice in a row before it gets too crowded. I like Soarin but TT is more fun to ride multiple times.

FP+ Soarin' and Ride TT either standby or Single Rider (twice, if you like.)

In August, we did a FP for TT because we knew we didn't want to chance missing it. (The year before it was down a lot on our Epcot day and boys never got to ride!) We did RD and went straight to Soarin'. Not running, but a brisk walk! We literally walked right through and got on the very first round! We then did TT later in the morning with FP and then did single rider a couple more times later in the day. Only thing with single rider lane for TT is you don't get to do as much customizing of your car. I know for a lot of people that doesn't matter, but my boys were REALLY into trying that out and would have been terribly disappointed if we just skipped it.

We were just there in February. We had FP for Soarin (thank goodness....90-120 minute wait) and boys did single rider for TT (but got to ride together) for about a 15 minute wait.

Another option is to book a Soarin' FP+ for, say, 10:00-11:00AM, and two more FP+ for anything Tier 2 at Epcot. (Anything.)

Then, ride TT two, or three, or four times... before (in this example) 10:30AM.

Then, BEFORE you ride Soarin', cancel (yes, CANCEL) the two other "anything" FP+ choices.

Then, ride Soarin' before 11AM with your FP+.

As you exit Soarin', you can make a new "4th" FP+ for anything still available…
which could be Soarin' again
(or Test Track again, or Mission Space, or…)

We had a morning FastPass for TT in August last year. When our time came, the ride was broken down. They said we could come back anytime later that day to use that FastPass. We decided to continue on with our day into World Showcase and hit it on our way out of the park. What was pretty much a monsoon hit on our way out of the park, so we missed it. I would have changed the FastPass to Soarin', but there were not any left by that point. Now, TT is one of our must-see attractions this time around.

So, long story short - I wouldn't FastPass TT again. I'd go at RD and if it's working, awesome.

Hmmm... Now that is an option I do like!!

But I have heard there are NEVER any other FP for Soarin or TT, even by mid morning. You were able to get them?

You make a good point. It was down a lot for us that last time we were there too. I rather go at RD then have a FP and it is down. I know we could come back again later but the lines get long, even FP lines. We actually just decided to not do AK this trip and Epcot twice since we are staying at Beach Club. So we will FP each both time but really do TT at rope drop both times no matter what. Soarin is a one and done for me. Thanks everyone!

My experience has been that on multiple occasions test track doesn't open right away or goes down frequently. Many times we have speed walked over there at rope drop and waited at least 20 /30 minutes for it to open. For this reason, I usually fastpass test track and rope drop soarin. Or we go for 8 days and do epcot twice. Problem solved!

I've seen many delayed openings for TT. Sometimes because the track is wet, sometimes because it's cold out and they have a hard time getting the cars running (at least this is what the CMs have told us), but we almost always FP Soarin and head to TT at RD anyway. It's a total walk on as a single rider for the first hour or so.

How often are TT or Soarin available for extra FPs later in the day? Also, if I can't FP either of them (saving them for another park in the afternoon), should I do TT or Soarin' first?

1. How often are TT or Soarin available for extra FPs later in the day? Also,

2. if I can't FP either of them (saving them for another park in the afternoon), should I do TT or Soarin' first?

1. In this scenario, you'd be ready to book the "4th" FP+ by about 11:15AM.
If you were to book the original Soarin' FP+ for about 9:30AM, you could push the whole operation up by a half hour.

2. I'd pick Soarin' as I prefer it over the "new, improved" (NOT) Test Track, anyway.
Regardless, TT has a single rider line, and Soarin' does not.
