Which Swan/Dolphin restaurants are best with small children?

Since we are staying off property for a conference, we want to take advantage of some of the restaurant.com certificates offered at the swan/dolphin. Seeing that we haven't been there, which would be good choices for a family with a 5 and a 1 year old?

Also, do you have to pay the $11 parking if you are just eating there?

Yes, you have to pay to park even when dining there.

Shula's, bluezoo and Il Mulino are all pretty adult. I know Shula's does not have a children's menu to discourage young diners; not sure about the other 2. We have seen some children dining there but not many; these places are very quiet.

If I had to pick one over the other to take children that young, I'd probably go with Il Mulino.

Garden Grove is definitely more family friendly but I think those coupons are only good for the fine dining establishments. I don't know if this is true but someone had posted that on here before.

PICABU - open 24/7, has pizza, chicken and alot off items kids enjoy - plus the refillable mugs

DOPHIN FOUNTAIN - great kids menu and ice cream anyway you want it.

We have a Restaurant.com $25 certificate for Il Mulino that requires the purchase of "Minimum 2 entrees." Does anyone know if an entree can be a pasta dish or pizza, or does it have to be one of the meat/fish entrees?

I have seen Garden Grove certificates on restaurant.com and they do have characters at dinner. You can also get a 20% off discount if you show a AAA card at the "non-signature" restaurants at Swan/Dolphin.

We ate at the Fountain restaurant with my 4 year old, and he enjoyed it. I can't remember what he ate though. My husband and I enjoyed the milkshakes. I would definitely go back if we were at the Dolphin again.
