Sorry to bumbard with questions, but 2 weeks to the trip, and only time I get on the computer is when DH is home.

We have a Graco Quattro Tour stroller (big). We love it, it turns on a dime, has cup holders, big basket underneath, sun shield. My parents purchased a cheaper stroller, smaller, lighter, not as comfy, still basket underneath.

I'd really like to take ours, but worry that crowded busriders will throw tomatoes at us or something?

Experiences and suggestions anyone?

With the age of your child, I would definitely go with what is most comfortable for her. If she sleeps/plays/rides just as well in your parents stroller, I would definitely take that, but if she doesnt, I would take the big one. If the little one doesnt recline there is no way I would take it.

We took our smaller one, as ds is actually MORE comfortable in the confined space for naps, etc. It is a graco umbroller, really cheap, and reclines. It was very convenient for the bus as is so small.

I would think necessities would be that the baby is comfortable, that it has a sunshade, has some form of basket and reclines. Anything else is just a bonus.

Hope this helps you!

I'd go with the bigger more comfortable stroller for your baby because of her age. The people on the bus will get over it. You wont be the only one with a full size stroller and most of the riders have had or have kids and most will understand. Just have it folded and ready to go when you board.

We also have the Quattro Tour stroller and used it last Spring at Disney. I'm so glad we had it. DD was much more comfortable than when we used the umbrella stroller a few months earlier. It made for more comfortable naps. I guess the only drawback was it took up lots of space in the closet in the hotel. But that wasn't a huge deal. And getting it on and off the bus with DH help, wasn't a big deal either.

With your dd only being 8 months old, I would definately take your graco quatro.

I've been having this same debate in my head for several weeks ...

We have a full-size Eddie Bauer with all the bells and whistles (cup holders for us, cup holder and tray for DS, huge basket, reclining seat, large sunshade), but for our trip to Disneyland back in July, I bought a small Jeep stroller. It worked fine for the 2 days we were there, but then I started thinking that I really want something that reclines, since we'll be at WDW for much longer periods each day, and for many more days in a row.

After testing out a few upper-end umbrella strollers, I pulled out the old Eddie Bauer the other day and realized it has everything I want, plus it seems to steer more easily than any of the umbrella strollers I looked at. Plus, DH said he would rather carry it onto the buses than spend more $$ on another one. So we'll be taking the big stroller this time, and probably several more times between now and the time DS outgrows it.

The weird thing is, I was SO excited when we bought our Jeep stroller - I told my husband that we would never go back to a big stroller - and now I'm SO excited that we're taking the old stroller to WDW. After a few months of not using it, it's like it's new all over again - and I am SO excited about having cup holders!!!
