Which stroller company and why?

We have always rented the strollers from Disney while at WDW,but we are thinking of going with a company that delivers the strollers to the resort instead.We will need one for a 3 year old that's the size of a 2 year old.I think I saw somewhere that one company even had small cooler bags included (not a must,but would be nice). Please give me the good and bad about any stroller companys that you all have used.Also why you use them or why don't you use certain ones.Thanks

Orlando Strollers - quality options, delivery, pick-up, and cheaper than Disney.

We used kingdom stroller and are using them again this year. Had a city mini double with rain cover and small cooler bag. I used the cooler bag to keep my camera in and it kept it water proof from the rain. We had a 4 year old and a 2 year old that was about 15 lbs (tiny guy) in it. Drop off and pick up at resort was easy-we even switched resorts right before stay and they had no issue. Also added 2 cases of waters to the order and when I went to get the stroller I think the resort gave the waters to other group/room in my party by accident and the resort called kingdom and within 10 minutes my new waters
Were delivered and they never tried
To get the waters back from where ever they had been mistakenly delivered by the hotel.

We've done Orlando strollers the last few times with no problems. One stroller with a bum wheel was even changed out for us next morning no problem. However this time we're rolling with Kingdom specifically for the water. Time will tell

Kingdom. I've used them twice and had excellent service. But from what I hear you really can't go wrong with any of the Disney approved companies.

Used Kingdom last year, booked them again this year. Flawless experience. It was there when we arrived, was in excellent condition and I left it with the bellhop at the end of our trip.

I also like that I can order a case of water through them. That comes in handy at the parks!

We used Apple in May 2014. We got a citi double. The stroller was a bit faded and frayed, but worked great. We went with them because they had a good deal.

can someone speak briefly to prices? I know if would cost us $31 days for an in park stroller but I am curious about these companies. And would we then get to keep it for the entire stay? Or am I better off just bringing a lightweight (but decent) double stroller?

You can go in and check prices. We are renting a from Orlando Strollers in a few weeks. 6 days with a City GT for $90. We used baby wheels last time for a double and had a great experience but they can't drop off and I just didn't want to deal with arranging a time to meet.

We have a lightweight single, but the one we are renting can hold my oldest as well if he needs a break. There are people that will say bring your own and others that will say rent. For us the money is worth it to have a better stroller with more room. Also, not having to wait to get the rental from disney at each park.

How do those rental strollers do on the buses? I like our stroller because it folds up more compactly. Those joggers type strollers seem bulky when they fold. Ours folds more into a cylinder shape that is easy to hold between us on a bench seat. How do you hold the others since they basically just fold in half? Does that make sense?

Has anyone booked the "free" stroller deal from Apple? I see a $10 delivery charge and sales tax but there has to be another catch that I'm not seeing.

Ours folds more into a cylinder shape that is easy to hold between us on a bench seat. How do you hold the others since they basically just fold in half? Does that make sense?

They are bigger when folded then an umbrella style stroller, but they ones they rent are easy to fold. I had the City mini double and there are pull handles in the seat that you just pull on and it folds. If we were sitting we just had it in front of us. Sometimes when DH was standing he just found a place to get it out of the way and rested it against him.

Although it folds in half, they are pretty compact. We have a Phil & Teds at home and I that thing is a beast when folded. Take a look at them online. Most have The City Mini

We've rented a double stroller 3 times, and have used Magic Strollers, Orlando Stroller Rental, and Kingdom. Magic Strollers is a bit more expensive, but they often have availability when the others are sold out and there is a 10% off coupon in the Birnbaum Guide. OSR and Kingdom were always the exact same price for us, staying 8 nights. We had no problems with any of the companies. OSR gives you a little cooler bag, Kingdom strollers lets you borrow a cooler bag, and there wasn't one that I recall from Magic Strollers but we never used any of them. We did initially get a stroller with a broken handle from OSR, you couldn't adjust it, but I called them and they switched it out late on our first day so we only had to use the one with the handle set for tall people for one day . Not a huge deal. They all offer free rain covers, magic Strollers says it isn't guaranteed but i called and they said they can't recall anyone ever wanting one and not getting one, and we did indeed get one. We never had to take the stroller out of a bag or put it back, it was just wheeled to us, but I have heard sometimes you do? Not sure if bell services did that for us, if it was because we rented a double, or if it's just random. Another thing I wondered about was the parent consoles for the citi mini GT doubles - the ones that fit the citi mini singles don't really work for the GT doubles but the long ones made for Bob Dualie strollers do. So I emailed all 3 of the companies. Kingdom has the long bob parent consoles, so I went with them the third time after I realized how terrible the smaller one was when we rented from OSR. OSR says they have some Bob consoles but not all, and you can request them. Magic Strollers does not use them. But this only matters for that particular stroller (Citi mini GT double) and if you really care about having the drink holder/parent console for your drinks on the handle. I also wondered about rain covers, since we have a citi mini GT double at home and the rain cover made for it seemed so nice. OSR said they manufacture their own rain covers for the baby joggers and feel that they repel water better. Magic Strollers uses baby Jogger brand rain covers. Kingdom strollers also manufacture their own rain covers based on the baby jogger pattern. The only time we had to use the rain cover was from magic Stroller, with the actual baby jogger cover (which I was pleased with), so I can't speak for the off brand ones the others use but they swear they are better
