Which store chain do you prefer (insp by Black Friday)

Target is my favorite but I like Super Walmart. Walmart's groceries, cleaning supplies and other basics are definitely cheaper and I like their Christmas things. Target is great for most other things but for clothes, I prefer Kohl's. But don't get me started on K-Mart. That store is hopeless!

As far as Black Friday goes, Walmart and Kaybee Toys seem to usually have the best sales IMO.

The Walmarts and Kmarts around here are positively GROSS. I would never shop in them. They're sloppy, crammed with all sorts of JUNK and dirty.

Target, on the other hand, is at LEAST a weekly venture. There is a newer one, a HUGE one, nearby that I shop at all the time.

Which one do I like best? Without a doubt, Target. Especially the Super Targets!

Which one do I shop at though? Wal Mart. Living in Canada we don't have any Targets around here. At least our Wal Mart is decent and relatively new.

My thoughts exactly. Poor KMart. It really does seem hopeless. They will advertise something on sale at a good price and if I go there, they NEVER have the product or their flyer is wrong and their confused. I get very frustrated there. Usually, I;ll just take the ad to Walmart and they'll match KMart's price.
Our Walmart is really nice. It is always clean and my biggest complaint is that they move stuff around & then I have to hunt for it. I really like Kohl's too. They have the best sales. I'd never buy anything from that store at regular price!

I love Target. My second favorite is Kohls. Of course DH and DS's all love Best Buy and Circuit City.

For the return policy, I learned a loophole. If you have the credit card you bought it with, they can swipe that and use it for the return. Since I learned that, I buy everything at Target with the same card. That way if I have to return something I don't have to worry about the receipt!

When we were getting ready for our cruise, I bought lots of stuff just in case I didn't find anything I liked better, then returned it.

tkd lisa, thanks for the info. I will watch the sales and if I see something that I need, I'll just use my card. No one ever told me that. I thought you HAD to have the receipt.
