Which Standard Studio at Kidani? HELP!

Hi All,

We will be staying at Kidani Village for the first week in January and I'm looking for advice on which Standard Deluxe Studio to request. Community Hall and Pools access would be important, however, I'm not sure how much we will want to get back and forth to Jambo.

We have a 4 year old and a 2 year old.

Any and all advice would be really helpful.

With your young children, I would suggest a pool view. With that, you may get a view of the end of the Pembe savanna. We had a 2BR pool view once and it was nice to see part of the savanna. Plus, it is a close walk to the pool, if the weather in early January cooperates. We had a standard villa overlooking the bus area once, and it was a little noisy from the beeping of the buses, even on the 4th floor. It also was not as nice of a view as the pool area. If you want to go to Jambo, you can simply catch the intra-resort shuttle or take any of the park buses (which stop at Jambo after picking up at Kidani).

Asking for specific room numbers is usually a request destined not to be met. That can be particularly bad at Kidani because if they cannot meet your location request, the default is to put you any area that is open, which is often far from anywhere you actually wanted. Better to request areas or to be near something. We requested "near rafiki elevator" and got a great standard view studio super close to the elevator that brings you down near the pool! Good luck!

We were on the second floor (lobby floor) near the Rafiki elevator. We had a partial savanna view and a view of the pool area. We weren't really far from the lobby or community hall either. As a bonus, down one flight and we were at the pool.
