Which special event impacts crowds the most?

We are planning a spring 2018 trip and are looking at a week long visit sometime between mid-April and mid-May. Of the five weekends that could be part of our trip, four of them have special events including the Star Wars Half Marathon followed by three weekends of cheerleading competitions.

I'm wondering if any of these events impact crowd levels more or less than the others?

Is there one week between 4/14-5/13 that you think would be better than the others or will they all be about the same (we spend most of our time in the parks but are planning to stay at Pop if that makes a difference)? Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you

Cheer groups stay at the value resorts so that would be enough for me to not go during that time. They have been reported to be quite disruptive at the resorts, i.e. noise/practice.

I don't think any of those will affect park attendance all that significantly. The race weekends do get an influx of runners but the biggest disruption would be any morning road closures. The parks aren't noticeably busier in my experience. The cheer competitions, as PP mentioned, will disrupt the value resorts more than the parks.

From experience the Cheerleaders do impact the parks a little when they have free time to visit the parks. I don't know if there is a schedule of where they are when but I have been during many different spring weeks in March, April & May and have yet to not run into any groups of cheerleaders. It seems there is a perpetual competition going on. Mind you they are nowhere near as disruptive as some of the foreign tour groups. Just large groups of them traveling from place to place.
