I know they run several shuttles in the morning. Which shuttle time do you prefer? I was leaning towards taking the 1st shuttle at 10 but is that too early? I do want to get on the ship early but will the kids be able to hold up in the terminal for 2 hours prior to boarding? :worried:

What are your opinions and experiences? Thanks! :D

We are booked on the 10am shuttle for our cruise in May....my daughter sits by the TV in the terminal and watches disney cartoons until its time to board.

So the 10 am shuttle in your opinion is the best to be on? Maybe I will call back and see if there is still room on the 10:00.

the 10 am shuttle works out great. you dont have to wait to long to get on the magic. we will continue to use the radisson. will be back there on 12/3/05 and cant wait

We just booked our rooms for Nov. They said you can only book your shuttle when you arrive? How can I book my shuttle ahead of time?

Thats not true...they told me that on the phone too but then I emailed them to double check and the guy said he could book me on the 10am one and I also called the hotel directly a few days later to make sure they had me on that one.

321-784-0000 is the # I called to book the shuttle. There is no confirmation # or anything so that always makes me nervous. I guess making the ressie and then calling back in a couple days like AprilGail2 did is a good idea.

I too have reservations at the Radisson. I called after reading this thread and was told I could only book shuttle service within 2 weeks of sailing date. But I will try to do the email thing and see if I am sucessful that way.

I didn't have any problem making our shuttle reservation (for 2.5). I called the hotel directly and they linked it to my room reservation. I guess it depends on who answers the phone.

Which hotel are you talking about? Is there a shuttle from a hotel near the Orlando airport to the port for the Wonder?
Thanks,

We booked the 10:30 shuttle at least two months prior to our arrival.

That said, we got to the Port around 10:45, and stood outside in a line waiting to get into the terminal until at least 11:15. Check-in went very fast, so the kids did end up watching TV, etc. Next time, I think I'll sleep in a bit longer and take at least the 11am shuttle.

11:45 was perfect. :earboy2: My DH & I were the only passengers on the shuttle, we walked right into the terminal, walked right up to the counter, and right onto the boat. We did pause a moment to take a few pictures - the place was very quiet.

I will tell you all, I made our Radisson reservations months in advance, online, and requested a view of the ship departure morning. When I checked in Wednesday afternoon, they had upgraded us to suite to accomodate my request. It was very exciting to wake up at 6:30 Thursday morning and see her there - waiting for us!

My poor DH woke up to me shaking him saying 'it's here! it's here! it's here!'
:Pinkbounc LOL

Also, Radisson breakfast buffet was pretty good. The omlettes were excellent - take a buck to tip the omlette chef. He was great! :cheer2:
