Which should i skip?

2Princes2Princesses And if you go with my plan...we'll see ya at Epcot on 5/5.[/QUOTE said:
Well I'll be damned lol I'll be at EPCOT on 5/5 also lol. We could have a Dizboard family reunion at this point lol!

Have a magical day,
Anna

If I had choose between missing Wishes, Illuminations, or Fantasmic, I'd skip Wishes. Fantasmic is my favorite, Illuminations is a close second, and Wishes is a distant third.

Well you made me feel better about the whole grad thing! How is cool that, MK and Epcot at the same time!! I will look out for you! We have 3 kids, pretty average although my sister, brother in law, nephew and nieces are all redheads and YES my sister has an unbelievable temper :sunny: . We do have a Mclean bright orange stroller. We will do what you suggest and try and get the big stuff done first. We were going to do Fantasyland First, then Adventureland, then Frontierland, then Tomorrowland. I am wondering since you mentioned the grad may want the big kid rides do you think we should go directly to Frontierland when the park opens and do Thunder Mountain or Splash Mountain or am I worrying about this too much get fastpasses if I need to and stick to my original plan?

No problem, and don't be bummed about Grad night. Since it is all high schoolers, we are planning on doing the "big rides" early, and then hitting the little kid stuff. If you have small kids, that would probably work for you too. Also, I am not sure if they go into the park during the day, or if they have to wait until after 7 pm to get in and do the Grad night thing. :teeth:

If it starts getting crowded, just use the Fastpass and you should be AOK. You have dining ressies, and for us, when the parks are crowded THAT is our biggest concern.....finding somewhere to eat. You have that covered already.

Have a great trip!!! And if you see us (I'm a 33 yr old redhead, will have 2 strollers, an 11 yr old and DH with their crew cuts, my mom, and my sister, who will probably be bright red hehe) say HI!!!

Only 26 days more days!!! :woohoo:

Sorry, I meant to quote your posting. Look 2 posts down for the one from me :)

OK here's our ID
we have a look of euphoria on us me/42 pluto: DH 41 (month later is is also 42) :goofy: ds16 :chewy: ds/10 :shamrock: We are from wilderness lodge. We are true EPCOT fans. My older ds looks like his father, the little ds is a Linkletter through and through (my maiden name) looks like his Mommy (me).

Have a truly magical day,
Anna

Woohooo a Dis reunion!!! :teeth:

I will also be carrying a very BRIGHT aqua Mickey tote with "stephanie" embroidered on it, thanks to the Disney Store sale this weekend. hehe

I am really getting excited. Our luggage tags came Saturday and I almost had a coronary. :lmao:

I think with FP and your original plan, you should be just fine. Don't sweat it. I got a little nervous about Grad Night, but I figured WTH, we'll manage. :teeth:

Relax and enjoy, 2 years ago we were there during Band Camp or something, but lots of bands from all over the country, and it was not bad. I am thinking this will be the same. :woohoo:

Only 25 days til we pull out of the driveway and head South!!!! It is supposed to snow here today, so I am even more excited to leave!!

Was that your luggage tags for ME? I need to call about those. I guess I was assuming they just mailed them automatically. Can I ask though if you are would change the order in which you do anything because of Grad night? I was going to do Fantasyland and do Frontierland later but now I am wondering if I should go to Frontierland because of Thunder or Splash Mountain. Which part would you do first?

The high schoolers are going to a hard ticket event and will not be going into the park early, in fact many times they have a preparty at Pleasure Island or elsewhere off Disney property. You will probably find that the parks will be less crowded on gradnight days because they close early and they are open much later. Guest without park hoppers won't want to use up a day at a park that will not be open as long as the others at a time of year when they are almost always open late.

We are going to pretty much do what we always do. If anything is overly busy, we will FP those rides. This year, we do have to high tail it to either fantasyland or adventureland and get DD on a ride. LoL She is very excited about rides this year!!!

I did read on ALLEARS some comments by grads who have attended in the past. From what I can tell, the party for them starts at 11 pm. They are either bussed in at that time, or spend time, like rlove said, at PI beforehand. So we may be in luck and MK may be low attendance that day.

We are just going to play it by ear. I am an infuriatingly lax planner. We know what we want to do, and will try, but we really have no "order" for rides or anything. Just a couple things, like grabbing a FP for Space Mountain, then riding something else or going to the bakery for crumb cake...stuff like that.

We received our castle tags and our package vouchers and stuff, not the ME tags. Those probably won't be here til at least the beginning of next week.

I cannot wait!!!

I am so planned out it is pathetic and as you can see any wrinkle in my plans as you can see, throughs me into a tailspin. But is seems all is going to be fine actually with the exception of Wishes and having to switch parks it may actually be better.

Oh, and what are castle tags and package voucher? We are staying at BVW so would we have those? (sorry, I as you can tell, I am really new at this. I have been to Disney yearly as a kid, once as an adult (in 1990) and this the first time with my three kids. We bought into DVC just to get us here every other year.

It is stuff they send you when you buy the package. I don't think you get them with a DVC ressie. Usually we book room-only because my cousin is a CM and we get a nice discount, so this is the first time we have ever booked a regular package (we wanted to try the Dining plan) and I had to call when the vouchers came because I didn't know what the heck they were!! :rotfl:

We are seriously thinking about buying into DVC this year. We LOVE Saratoga.

You are welcome!! Hope you have a great trip!!

Our ME tags came today and I had to call my mom at work to tell her, because my DH is a grumpy and refuses to get excited til we are in the truck and ready to go.
